Down another .8 of a pound today and the hot flushes have eased up. Guess my estrogen is up so I finally got a full 7 hours of sleep. I have been on two hour sleeps since a week before cancun. I will say almost letting up as I suffer from a hot flush right now.Damm Kathy I know how you feel. Well with tommorow being the 30th. I am down 7 lbs from Sept 10th the day I got back from Cancun. I am liking it. However the damm knee is still killing me. Working on it everyday.
damn you guys are doing awsome!! i havent agined anything since before i left for cancun. but havent lost either. these antib. make me so nausous if i dont have a full stomach, but soon i will be dont with them. its almost the 1st. then time to get really serious. i go through times when i wake up out of a dead sleep with those dumb flashes!!! and yes they seem to come and go. but its a pretty regular thing! maybe 48 will be the end of them. one can only wish!! have to book my vac. dates fairly soon so come on any suggestions on date3s? april?-?
I've been going through that since I was 32.. what I've ended up using it sleeping pills, they are not really strong but you do get at least 6hrs sleep and you don't feel groggy in the am. I still have hot flashes but not as often, almost to the point I'm wondering what the hell I'm hot and sweaty only to remember "hot flash" Now whats with all this weight loss you guys we start tomorrow... cheaters... LOL I haven't lost or gained anything since April.. so time to get at it.. right.. we start tomorrow... What tomorrow what the hell tomorrow is Saturday... who the hell wants to start a diet etc on a Saturday... hmmm I guess we can see how this is going to go for me.. LOL:icon_lol:
ha ha deb!!!!!! we all say hey its my weekend! my time!! then on mon. we feel guilty. you can do it. im really glad i diddnt start this flashing at 32!! i would be soggy puddle right now if i did. in 20 degr. temps. i still only wear a lightly lined jacket outside!! so when its 100 i just feel plain ole sick. but one cheese omlet today and i hope i dont get the antib. queesys!!!
I just find on the weekends it easier to cheat at work I'm confined myself to my desk and only bring healthy food. At home it can be a free for all...LOL
I have done the same... stick to my diet 5 days a week, then on the weekends eat and drink and what happens is you don't gain.. which is good.. but you don't loose.. to loose a pound in a week you have to eat something like 3200 calories less in that week... so if you don't spread that 3200 calories over the entire week and fall off on the weekends you have no loss at the end of it and a possible a gain..its ok to have a cheat now and then but 2 days every week will stop you from loosing .. Just saying!!.hahah what you have done here is learned how to maintain weight loss.. lol
haha!! well...it is really hard.. but i have changed my mind set to, if i am going to eat more on the weekends.. I am going to have to workout more on the weekends... as soon as the lake closes.. hahahah!!
I totally understand about the loss of willpower at the weekend. I'm very good all week, then come the weekend I just don't have the same level of commitment! If I stumble at the weekend I tend to either stay the same, or gain 0.5 - 1lb, and it is so frustrating! Feels like its a week lost when that happens. I work hard all week in a stressful job, and my weekends are just so boring in comparison I fill them up with eating tasty food and drinks. I've been dieting and exercising since I booked my trip to TTR in July, and I've lost 21lbs in that time, but nothing much has shifted over the last month. I've done well this week, and lost 4.5lbs (as long as I behave over the weekend!). To motivate myself I've bought all my holiday clothes now two sizes smaller than at my heaviest. I fit into some of them now, but others I'm still miles away. Still got 3 months to get more weight off before our holiday, but my worry is that the weekend slip ups are eating into this time too much. I do badminton on a Saturday morning, but think I seriously need to consider doing more gym work at the weekend to take my mind off food and drink.
