Hello All, Not sure if an intro is necessary or not but we came across this site and it looks like a fun bunch of people so we wanted to join in on the fun and say hi. We will be going to Temptations Cancun for the first time next spring (February-March) and wanted find any pointers for first timers and see if anyone else is going to be down there around that time. We have never been to an adult resort but are looking forward to it; we could really use a break from reality. I bought Annie a few WW suits which might be a bit out of her comfort zone but she agreed to wear them for the trip. We can’t wait to go! So a few questions: Does the resort always have themed nights or is this something a bunch of people just chose to put together? Does Steve normally do cruises around the time we will be there? Do most people stay at the resort the entire time or get out and around? And like we said above, any all first timer pointers are welcome. Thanks, Devin and Annie
Devin and Annie, Welcome aboard! Much of the information you seek can be found throughout these threads it just takes a little searching and reading. There are themed nights that the resort co ordinates but some of the larger groups on here do arrange their own or at least tweak the resort idea somewhat. On that thought one of the great advantages of surfing here is that you may well identify that a large group from here will be attending while your there. We are a very accepting bunch so no matter how many times you have been to TTR you will be treated just like old friends. So climb into a thread grab a coffee, wine, scotch whatever blows your fur back and start reading. As for Steve's booze cruise he does them based on need. Closer to your departure dates you should find stickys at the top of this forum for cruises on certain dates. Off resort travel does occur especially since Cancun has a lot of great night life. Some are co ordinated through the resort. There are sponsored links here for day travel. Others from the larger groups sometimes co ordinate nite get aways through this site too. hope this helps!
Welcome to Cancuncare and the TTR group!! Come in April! You won't be disappointed!! Last year was our first year at TTR and we went in April for 1 week..we are booking for next April for 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back! There are theme nights some hosted by the resort and some planned by different groups that go at a particular time. Check the posts for different dates for the cruises and theme nights. Everything you need to know can be found through this site. We didn't go off the resort once. Its not really necessary because there is enough people and entertainment to keep you busy but we would like to go out and about on our next trip in April.
since you have time, i suggest that you go back about 5-10 pages and read the posts. most of your questions get asked and answered every year.:typing: yes, i could answer all of them (and will if you want) but that would take the fun out of reading all the good stories :read::read::icon_biggrin::icon_biggrin: look forward to a great trip!!
Thanks for the response and after posting we found Jamie's sticky'd info on the resort that helped answer a bunch but looking forward to learning more. April is an option but we wanted to get to it as soon as the weather gets warmer.. We'll have to see Sounds like a plan. And let us know if you find that whip cream in PHX (from the other thread), that's our old stomping grounds. I would have thought living in the same city there would have been a little more love, guess we have to try harder.
Just a quick Hello. We are headed back the second week of april with the April Addicts. It's a great time to go.
Welcome to the forum! As for the cruises, we run them whenever we have the demand. Feb/March is high season and I expect we'll be running them frequently next year (weekly at least) if the explosion in interest this year is anything to go by. The cruises are planned no more than one month in advance and dates are chosen for when we have the most people at one time. I use the monthly roll calls to judge the numbers so please hang around and look for the Feb roll call that will be posted at the end of October and then post your dates and your interest in the cruise. Meanwhile, take a seat, make some friends and check out the latest reports
Go last week In feb. Spring brake for adults. did I say that----plus something that no body has said .Night time cools off a little bit for dancing and partying .About 68-65 Open air bar party -o You will want to cool down after dancing all night
New here too... Well.. guess we aren't even newbies,, just a forum lurker.. We are thinking about TTR, I just need to convince wife that a caveman isn't going to drag her back to his cave or that she isn't going to get hit by any 'friendly fire' while hanging out at the hot tub. We are fit, fun, & love to laugh, been to the other resorts but like the idea of a more entertaining environment. Please keep all the trip reports coming....
