    Hi everyone!!

I went to Cancun this summer in August and loved it..... but.... I want to go back to Cancun in the summer of 2012 in but to Temptations!

I want to go for 14 days from end on July 25 2012 to August 7 2012. I have been checking different websites like orbits but my questions is:

When is the best time to buy this vacation for next year in July? (Now, winter?, spring?) I bought my tickets on Jan 1st for my August vacation this year from Orbits to Dreams and it was about $1200 for 7 nights. ( I live in Pennsylvania)

Where is the best place to buy a Temptation vacation from?

How much did you pay per person for 14 days? I plan on going with my bf.

Im already dreaming of my Temptation vacation in summer of 2012. Help me out to get the best value for my money. :)

    Timea

If you're looking for a hotel only deal and want to get your flights separately then be sure to check out Alpharooms (< link!) who consistently have the best prices.

Lots of other providers are listed here:

Booking just the hotel itself and then the plane is too expensive. I am looking to purchase a flight + hotel package.
Does expedia have better deals for Temptations over orbits?

Since you already have your dates nailed down, I'm a big fan of ResortCompete. You enter your destination, dates and departure city, and over the next couple of days you get competing quotes from travel agents. I've always gotten a better deal than I could cobble together on my own.

Right now skyauctions.com is the best deal I could find. Wicked-getaways also emailed me a pretty competitive price, ~$70pp/pn.

actually, I have read that you can save by using alpharooms for the all inclusive room and then shopping the flight...patience is the key in that search but ppl do save when they do it right.

Expedia, Orbitz and others are not always the cheapest.

True, also a lot of people have access to cheap/free flights via air miles etc. So booking the two separate can work out well in some, but not all, cases.

These are great ideas!! :daisy:I haven't checked out some of these websites. For those who have traveled a lot before - is there a best time around the year when most websites have sales? (christmas, new years, vday, spring break?). I am looking to buy for end of July - start of August 2012 but WHEN should I buy? What to you know from experience? This is my secong time going on vacation out of the country so I do not have much experience with using various website for all inclusive packages and I've never bought from a travel agent either.

I do want a flight + hotel packages but I do not have any frequent flier miles or anything like that.

How well does skyauction website work? The bidding sounds like it might get expensive.

I booked thru Expedia for next April as it was the cheapest this time. We also qualified for a $200.00 Visa Debit card to be issued back to us upon our return to Stateside.
