We finally found it in N.Y. in our local liquor store. I think the state just allowed it to be sold here.
I'm constantly amazed at American ingenuity. First spray cheese, now alcoholic whip. Is there no end to the gastronomic applications for aerosol cans? :xyxthumbs:
How about alcoholic cheese-flavoured spray-on body paint? You could get the best of all three worlds in a single can!
Re: whipped lightning I emailed the company and received a reply. It is NOT available in Canada yet, but "but we expect to be speaking with distributors there soon". The fellow gave me the following list of websites that it might be available through (these are no doubt all US sites): www.shoppersvineyard.com www.specsonline.com www.internetwines.com www.totalbeverage.net www.wineliquorbeer.com www.vinobazaar.com www.worldofliquor.com
i would say we would bring you some......but the chances of there being any left by the 9th.... well not so good
I have this vision of me desperately trying to wring whipped cream out of an empty aerosol can while Frank and Jamie smile complacently, having consumed a half dozen cans of whipped lightning before I get there. I will console myself with the fact that you two will probably have gained 5 pounds each from the stuff while I will remain svelte and sober. Well, maybe not sober...
