First of all, how do you guys recognize each other, I could not recognize anyoneeee... I wont write this up by days...instead I will address points that people usually ask when looking for a resort and fixing their eyes on Temptation. Is the resort a swingers resort, yes it is. The resort is also frequented by regular folks that enjoy the party scene. The word swinger does not mean that someone will hit on you, the chemistry of life does not change if you go to the resort, if you are anti-social, a loner, bitchy, touchy, etc you should still go to the resort because the sexy pool is not the only thing available, anti-socials can still enjoy the resort, just like any other resort in any part of the world but don't expect anyone flirting with you and making you feel attractive. The food was fine, the bed firmness was fine, the drink cup size was fine, the attention was excellent. The crowd ranged from 20 year olds to idk 50's maybe a 60 year old or two... Things you should do while at the resort.... Jet Ski--we rode 3 times Sail boat thingy--we took it out twice kayak---if you dont mind the excersice...we took it out and my dumbass wanted to go as far away as possible...took me an hour to paddle back to shore.... Pay for the photo shoot at the resort with the baby wild animals and parrots, you may regret not doing so. Daytime activities Dont miss the beer drinking contest, Miss Temptation, Iron Woman and the couples show...lots of fun... Outside of the resort, plan a trip to the see and swim with dolphins, soooo much fun.... If you go shopping downtown have a list in mind....there are soooo many stores, you really just dont know what to buy...remember Shopping Center 28 is an actual strip mall, however, the stores along the streets before Mercado 28 will try to convince you that they are in fact 28, they actually had better prices for a few items we bought but nonetheless they are not 28, 28 is a shopping mall with restaurants and bars and probably like 200 stores. If you are a strong swimmer you must go diving or snorkling...My wife loveeeeed diving, I am afraid of a drowning death so I chose snorkling....my wife did snorkling as well and liked it but prefers diving. I liked the snorkling but you have to be a strong swimmer to really run across as much of the reef barrier as possible. I did see lots of marine life, huge tropical marine fish. Next time however, she can go into the ocean and I will stay at the resort feeding the artificial mini reef that has developed over by the huge sand bags barrier...I watched a couple feed the seagals and the fish bread and I probably saw 10 diff species of fish, crabs, star fish and I would not be as sore as I am now...granted I saw fish that were probably 2 to 3 feet in size which was great, the colors are great, the way they move...but the ocean is roughhhh for me. Go to Isla Mujeres, beatiful beach....good food...dont do the golf cart, its overrated...spend your time at the beach, maybe shop or grab a bite if food is not included in your tour ticket...dont miss the beach... What did we participate in at the resort? we did the Lingerie night thing but it kind of sucked....imo this night is probably more fun if you go in a largeeee group of ppl but alone or as a couple...it was boring...the bar line is hugeeeeee it was easier for me and many others to walk to PatyO and get the drinks...I did not like this event much...the after party at PatyO's was good.... We tried to do white night but not many ppl cared for it and there was a very large number of guests...ppl just did not care much for white night. It is a vacay so if you want to wear white go for it but dont do it bc of the theme...just do it... The couples show on Sunday night at Nice Shoes was really funny.... The place overall is fine...if you think the food and entertainment at more expensive resorts is better, you are sadly mistaken, we are very hard to please creatures...I did tours with ppl staying at other more expensive resorts and they had complaints and comments for improvements as well. Now for the good part...the part I had the most fun with while on the property.... The weather was great...forecast said 60% chance rain for the entire stay...it rained 1 day, the entire day but we stayed out because there was over 100 ppl that stayed out and I lost my voice for it from talking so much, jumping around so much and getting soaked for so many hours... I am an analyst by nature...so as soon as I arrived I figured out the topless codes... When we arrived we met some folks and started talking, his wife went topless but remained under water, never exposed herself in open air. This made my wife curious, she wanted to get a full body tan so she said she was going to try it under water and measure her own comfort level. Remember, I had already figured out the codes but did not tell her... Going topless has several meanings that are further defined by your behavior.... 1. topless means you are open to suggestions, swinger, bi-sexual, single and ready to mingle. 2. I like being topless and came to party, not looking for anything extra 3. I simply want to get a full body tan. My wife apparently was kind of popular but I did not realize it until day two. I was the ugly troll.... Getting back to the topless underwater...ppl notice when you go topless, even if its underwater...many ppl read the code as 1 when it was more like I want 3 but not comfy just yet... I will sum it up as many many ppl wished she had gone alone...they did not have to say it, I can read eyes, faces, body language.... I on the other hand and she seems to find this very very funny and it kind of was...the only ppl that I captivated was two local girls that went to the resort that by Friday 6pm where having a blast in one of the sexy whirlpools...we met them on Thursday night and since they were both from Mexico explained lots of things to us and their final words were to let them know if I needed anything at all...I did not catch on right away... We spent I think 3 days at the pool, Friday, Sat and Sun...walking away for hours at times...but it was enough to get to loveee the song "loca People"...Dont mean this in a bad way, so many things happen in that pool that you just can't help but laugh and say "what the F". Anyway...I have tonnnnss of stories....too many to write in one post...I will share the one that steals the price....ready? I can't believe that I did not take them up on this one...Friday night we went into town to a nightclub with another couple...we had met them earlier at the pool...they asked us if we had dinner reservations, we did, Asian at 8pm, they said Italian at 7pm, we parted ways to go eat...When I showed up at 8 to the Asian restaurant they were there, waiting for us...weird!!!! but I believed when they told me they had gotten their reservation mixed up and it was not Italian at 7.... So we went clubbing, came back at 3, went to PatyO's and I get the offer of a lifeee time...what was I thinking when I turned it down... Frank shows me 4 nude pics of his girlfriend on his digital camera. Tells me his girlfriend wants my wife and that he has to watch but that he does not like other dudes watching so be happy with the nuddy pics and stay here at PatyO's or go to my room...He did promise to behave and only watch... My wife almost fell off her bar stool, her face was priceless...I brushed it off and told them I was going to sleep and walked away but my wife was like a deer in headlights, she could not get up and walk and stared at me like a child being abandoned by his parents, it was soooo funny...I had to take 2 steps back and grab her... All in all, had I not lost my voice, I would have had even more fun but it was too uncomfortable to speak so I had to sit back...She enjoyed it aswell. If you like fun, if you like clubs, if you look forward to birthday parties, weddings, girls/boys night out, you will like this place... If you want to go to Cancun and read books you can do that here as well, go into town, save over $1,000 in your travel alone and accomplish your vacation goals, air, food, bed, beach, pools, access to motorized sports and tours... Oh and the bus system is perfectly fine, even has TV's in the buses BUT only in the hotel section, we took a bus in town and it was like urban buses in the States, broken AC, making funny noises and not as comfy as the hotel section buses, it was tooooo humid last week for buses without AC... This place does not deserve the 25% negative feedback it has in Trip Advisor....many of those opinions are just not objective.... Go with USA Transfers for your airport transport, cheaper then then any international travel company and if you hear ppl say that their agency gave them transport for free, it was not free, they paid for it in the price of their trip which was a bit more expensive then what you paid. Book your activities thru this site, the prices are a lot more straight forward. I wanted to kill the guy that works for Albatros...dude sold me a tour for $65 per person and charged my card in pesos, did not think I would do the conversion, he had swiped it for $85 per person....a real character...everyone has different prices, I found it to be too much work to book a tour.. Book at least 2 tours in advance thru this site if you are staying for 4 or more days at the resort, as long as you dont book the tours for Saturday and Sunday you will not regret booking. The pool is fun Saturday and Sunday, do your tours on other days.

WAIT, WAIT JUST A MINUTE OK.... The drink cup size was fine bc I ordered 4 drinks a time and spent a bunch of time at the swim up bar.... One of the days I spent it doing shots and only shots...at first the bartenders hesitated but once I proved to them I we were in fact drinking the 4 or 6 shots that I ordered at each time they had no problem saving me trips.....
Hey, Hi Denver....we'll keep in touch.... You will have a really good time... Another thing I read complaints about was the beach with the marina's on both sides and seaweed....I was on 3 other beaches and NO BODY SWIMS OUT INTO THE OCEAN.....We all stayed at the very edge therefore the seaweed at Temptation is not an issue, the marina's give it a nice touch of AquaMarina whatever you want to call it and the water is not as rough as the other beaches....the waves are calmer....
