    on LI - winds kicking up. not much rain yet. cant wait for our Oct trip to TTR!

    I'm out in suffolk./ I think they are saying less rain and more wind for us. i stopped watching the news. Good luck up there!

    This Florida girl it's continuing to pray for all of you who have been or still are in Hurricane Irene's path. We know, firsthand, how stressful these times can be! Stay safe & if you end up losing power, be careful with those generators!!!

    Lots of wind and rain so far... Jersey was hit pretty hard, but New York City made out ok, now its bearing down on us north of the City and New England... So far so good though.

    I've never seen a line wrap around a nyc block like it was at wholefoods on friday..last nite nyc was a ghost town ..only cops and tourits taking pics and being blown away.. had to change our dates..oh well..savea shot for us

    LI was not bad. Down tree cut our power, but we have a generator - have to keep the beer cold :) Still some wind, but rain is gone.

    we lost power and had flooding in the basement. It could have been worse. We are about 60 miles north of NYC

    Made it through the storm !! Have debris all over however only lost power for about 12 hours !! so all in all we were very lucky !!!!
