Who has done the "Party Hopper" tour? We are thinking of doing it next weekend, and we're looking for some feedback. Thanks.
Honestly I would steer clear of the weekend....We've done it 3 times. First two were during the week and this year we went on Saturday. Coco Bongos was so packed that you had to fight through a crowd just to go to the bathroom. We ended up leaving early. The first two years we had an absolute blast though and I highly recommend it.
Years ago Steve used to do them as a VIP club tour. We really enjoyed his over the bus hopper tour. I'm not sure if he even offers that service any longer.
The one and only time we ever went to CB a few years back it was like you described...packed wall-to-wall. We could barely move and getting a drink was next to impossible. We didn't go with a group, just went on our own with another couple...maybe we would have enjoyed it more had we gone with the group from the hotel (as it was, we couldn't have enjoyed it much less, lol).
A few of us went on our own about 5 years ago and i gave the hostess $20 and she got us a good table kicking several other people off telling them that we had reserved the table. Didn't have any problems getting drinks either.
we've done the hopper tour and it was great...got a good table and no problems getting drinks....then we went to CB with the hotel....got a shit table and the server disappeared after about an hour...but we still had a blast
We went to coco with the resort. Got our own section with our own waiter. Never had to ask for a drink, he always was there to keep up with us. Highly recommend cb with the resort and stay for as much of the show as you can. Plus the group made it fun as well.
