I don't think you two are off the hook cause it is a short trip. The cruise is a fun day and well you can shop on the island.
Go for it. A tip for you and anyone else who wants to get there quick is firstly ignore all the guys who try to stop you just before you exit the airport. They are very friendly but are only after selling trips or timeshares. They pretend to be your travel reps (if you are travelling on a package). Secondly, when you have checked into the hotel they will try to get you to sit down with someone who is seling timeshares. Tell them politely but firmly that you arent interested. Hope this helps.
