We are returning to Temptation in Cabo for a second time in a few weeks. We will be going again in April. Is it worth becoming a member? Does anyone know the costs or benefits of being a member? We plan to go about twice a year. Just wondering if it is worth joining. Any information would be great. I can't seem to find out costs or anything on their web sight.

I have talked to many people while there on this vary topic and still have not been convinced it's a good idea. I will admit I am no math scholar but the numbers just dont add up to me. I will say some people seem very happy having while others are really pissed by them

Let's say you talk them down to 5000 for your timeshare( if you are good at it) I know some that paid as much as 10 to 20 thousand.

It isn't like you go there for free from now on. You still have to pay the all-inclusive fee plus your airfare. Which depending where you look or get lucky on a deal is anywhere from 1000 to say 1600 bucks.

We go to temptations for twice a year as well and over the internet never pay more 2300 for two weeks everything included. We have to go a lot of times just to make up the original cost of timeshare.

Somewhere on this site, there is thread on timeshares will about 30 thousand posts about it, if not deleted already. Look for that and that might give you your answer.

We paid 5g's I wouldnt call this a timeshare with a time share you get a free week every single yr I would call it more like a discount membership. In this trip we are saving about about 500 so we can pass our discount to other friends and they get the same benefits some which dont make sence some other do. So in my opinion and for the price we paid for yes it was a good deal because we go abot 3 times a yr saving about 1 thousand on just the room averytime we go for a 6 night stay hope it helps
