Hi, according to the Temptation website the resort is 20 mins from the airport. A 20 minute taxi ride should not cost more than $20usd....

Does anyone have any taxi info, how much would a taxi to and from the aiport to Temptation really cost?

pricate shuttle so worth it...don't do a group shuttle unless you are ok with being stuck in an unairconditioned van with 8 other people. Temptation will be the last stop, so plan on a 1.5 hour ride;( we did that our first time and never again. We now book with USA Transfers (I think that's what it's called)

Regular taxis aren't allowed to pick up from the airport, only drop off. There is one company that has "taxi" written on the side but they are just another private transfer company that has a license to pick up people who haven't made arrangements in advance.

They are the only ones who can pick up people who havent made previous arrangements and like any captive market they'll charge a premium - at least $40 one way, I've heard of people paying $60 one way.

So a private transfer with USA Transfers is actually cheaper than a 'taxi' and much quicker than a shared shuttle.

USA Transfers is the best bargain. The "taxi" from the airport is $60 one way.

USA Transfers is worth it. Our trip included transportation, but it was on a bus with alot of people. So we would have had to wait for everyone to show up then get dropped off before our resort. With usa, we walked out, found our driver jumped into a air conditioned suburban and were at our resort within 20 minutes. It really is worth the extra money.
