The last thing I want is to be further dehydrated sittin on the pot from trying to stay hydrated by drinking questionable water. Like I said, first time so I'm clueless Also is anyone planning an outing with the staff to the clubs, or a night to cocobongo? I'd really like to check out the scene at least for a short while to get the experience. Which night would be the best and should we go out with the staff or take a taxi and explore?
Everybody drinks from the faucets, has drinks with ice, etc. with no problems (at the resort - not elsewhere!). My understanding is TTR has their own filtration or purification or whatever. Since I wanted ice in my water the bartenders were always happy to fill me up, but the water is fine in the room too. We had so much fun at the resort last time that we never left! We are hoping to go to a club at least one night this time, and Steve's Boobs Cruise, too. The resort takes a group to a different club every night - I think it's a bus there and VIP admission with open bar (~$50/pp), then you cab back on your own ($12 or so) whenever you're finished.
Also can I get a link to the Bubba Keg most of you get? The one Im looking at is 52oz for $15 shipped.. thats damn good but is it kind of a ridiculous size? I'll probably get one for water and one for drinks. Whats the largest size mug youd suggest for getting drinks? I don't want the bartender to look at me like "C'mon man thats a little large" lol I guess a good question would be what size are the ones from the gift shop-- and price wise would it be better to just buy one there and use the extra bag space for something else?
I'd go with the 20 or 34oz. We got a 34oz and it's pretty large - 52 seems like it's getting into novelty size. Bartenders were fine with my mug last trip - I think it's 28oz or so. The bottles sold at the resort were small (12oz?), barely insulated, and expensive ($20?). Stuff your mug full of shorts in your suitcase and it barely takes up any room at all. :biggrinbandit:

Thats too funny I just texted my buddy asking if he wants to order one and he said "ship it to the hotel Ill have no room!" and I told him to stuff socks or something in there
