Trip Report - 7/24 - 7/31 - the Alabama Crew + Chicago

The week sort of all blended together but here's what I remember:

Sunday night: "Dare to Be Tempted" show
Monday night - Carribbean Heat dance show
Tuesday night: Karaoke + Live band at Paty O's
Weds night: Stripper show
Thursday night: Lingerie Casino
Friday night: White Martini night (Awesome, by the way)
Saturday night: Pool party (another great night)

Yup, Sam and Simon were there - Sam celebrated her birthday on Sunday, starting with tequila shots with us at the pool party at midnight!

Fantastic people - I "met" Simon via this website - he reached out to me after our 2007 visit for info and help and we wound up staying in touch ever since - first time we met in person!

 

Someone sent me a PM question regarding Tropical Storm Don and how the resort reacted. Well ... we just partied - thankfully, it wasn't much more than a day-long warm rain storm - it rained steadily from about 10:00 AM through about 5:00 PM, then the rain blew out and it turned into a gorgeous evening. We spent the day in the pool being abjectly silly - the Miss Temptations and Iron Man competitions were held as usual, and well, the show went on. We were in the pool all day, enjoying the drinks, the laughs and the rain. Honestly? It was a great day and it was nice to get a break from the intensity of the sun.

 

trip report was exactly as described. We had so much fun. We had been to BBG 5 times but this was so much more fun.. Sign by the pool says "No inhibitions" and we didn't see many. LOL The Boobs Cruise was a blast, couldn't have asked for more. My cheeks still hurt from laughing.

Well said! Chris and I had SOOOOO much fun meeting you guys. What a great vacation! I can honestly say I have never been anywhere where I left and felt that we made so many life long friends. I sincerely mean LIFE LONG friends. This was our first time to TTR. I was LEARY to say the least. I would be happy to talk to anyone who has any reservations. I definitely did before we got there and I think Daphne summed it well when she said her cheeks still hurt from laughing. Chris and I can't wait to go back!
