Trip Report - 7/24 - 7/31 - the Alabama Crew + Chicago

Got home yesterday from Tempation Resort, aka "Heaven on Earth" having had one of the best weeks ever.

For anyone reading this for "what's the resort like" details - well, it's awesome. This is our first visit since the remodel/rebrand as Temptation from Blue Bay Getaway, and the resort has really raised its game. Everything is of higher quality, from the rooms, to the service, to the food, to the drinks, to the pool loungers, etc. etc. Loved the new members of the entertainment staff, - Stacy and Sara, you're beautiful and you're rock stars - you really helped make our trip. Chinos, great to see your crazy face again after all these years. That said, PM me if you want "will I like this resort" advice or info about the facility, happy to help you out. Know it will be unbalanced and one-sided. I love this place!

We met so many new and cool people - Amber and AJ (1funcouple001 - and Amber is the Jello shot MacGuyver, having made Jello shots in her room using the in room coffee machine to boil the water), Chris and Tiffany (see ya soon!!), Michael from California, Anthony and Melissa from the Bronx, all the lunatics on the booze cruise (Chris and Tata, Brendan and Sherrill, Alisa and Jeff, and many many more, etc. ) Alisa sang the best rendition of Me and Bobby McGee since Janis Joplin herself last sang it - on Karaoke night. And so many more, I cannot even begin to list them all. I'm sorry if I've left anyone off my list, and I have ...

We were adopted members of the very loud and very rowdy crew from Alabama, having met the anchors of that group at the resort in 2007 and becoming lifelong friends with them. Keary and Lisa, Coach and Sharon, Jerry and Tammy, Brian and Leslie - you guys are all so much fun and it was such an honor to be adopted "bammies" for the week. That end of the pool will be so quiet this next week. Although I'll bet Chinos will never allow Sweet Home Alabama to be played ever again ...

And, such a treat to finally meet our UK friends Simon and Samantha and their pals Kath and Allen - great new, lifelong friends.

To anyone reading this for trip report details, I have this to say to you: If you are uptight about seeing a few boobs, being around fun and rowdy people, if you don't like meeting new folks and you like keeping to yourself ... well, don't come here. What I love about the TTR is that the very nature of it and the fact that there are plenty of "haters" of it on TripAdvisor and other places, means that all the uptight dorks are weeded out, and what's left are cool people.

Worries that people have I would refute - there were no bugs, our AC was amazing, our room was sparkling clean with little to no odor (it is a humid place after all), the food was fine and plentiful (with the exception of the poolside barbecue which was amazing and voluminous - biggest meal I ate all week - couldn't get enough of the grilled steak and shrimp! Delicious!). There were no orgies, no roaming bands of swingers abducting people, no forced activities.

What there was:
- Amazing people that are the easiest folks to meet in the world
- Bodies of all shapes and sizes in the pool, some in a minor state of undress. All topped with silly smiles.
- Nonstop laughing. If there is a sound that defines this place, it is laughter. This is a place you will come to laugh. You will have moments where you have been laughing so hard and long that your cheeks and ab muscles will hurt.
- Fantastic dance parties every evening. I have never danced so much in my life.
- Nonstop fun in a wonderful environment conducive to fun and romance

Finally, a commercial: If the week you are going has a Cancuncare Boobs Cruise, you MUST GO. Fantastic trip - Steve, this was totally the highlight for us - and your crew did an amazing job in your absence. YOU MUST GO!

And so much more. I could go on and on and on. I love this place and I love all the people that go there.

You have definately made us more excited with 19 days to go before our 1st ever trip to TTR.
Boobs Cruise is booked and can't wait. Trace absolutely loves boat trips and I get seasick in the bath! should be a blast!

great tr. i loved it. very excited because we finally have a Boobs Cruise sched. for the 3rd. or 4th. of sept. will be the first one weve been able to go on. your spot on with peple too. all stuffys stay home! cool people feel welcome. again loved the tr. hope to see you sometime in the future.

 

That was a very motivational trip report.

although we visited TTR on a day pass, that single day made my trip, we had the best time of our trip.

No wonder people return to TTR over and over.

Hey Robandstew, great trip report! Simon and Samantha from England where there? Nice people, we met them a few years ago, good to see they came back to TTR! Too bad they did not come for Halloween! Booking for Oct 29-Nov 6. Love Halloween at TTR!

Quick question.....I know Lingerie and white night, but what nights are karaoke and the "strip" show? Are they on certain nights? I'm afraid we aren't gonna be there on those nights since I know we are already missing the Miss Temptation contest on Wednesday
