We will arrive Friday July 22 - Friday 29th. We booked the trip last minute to get away and celebrate my 40th birthday. I booked the jacuzzi on the patio room. We stay up late but thought this would be better on the quiet side for a day of rest needed at some point. Did i make the right call? Does anyone have suggestions on room to ask for or last minute things to pack? I think i have it all covered. Little amount of clothing, heels, sunblock, thermal mug and rain jacket??? How's that packing list..... Looking forward to having a great time and making new friends.
The jacuzzi rooms are all pretty much in one spot so you wouldn't notice a huge difference either way in regards to noise. If available you can ask them to put you closer to the side where nice shoes/sports bar is, that's going to be the farthest. Your list sound pretty good, not much more that I could think of, have a good b-day and enjoy your trip!
I'm thinking now i made a mistake booking on that side. We never go to bed early. I'm a night owl. Should i ask to change closer to party pool or stay where i am.
My bad, maybe I should have been clearer with the distanaces, your only talking a difference of 40 ft. All in all the property is not that huge so you won't be walking that far either way. The only pain is if your on one of the top floors. I'm usually one of the last ones to close down the bar so I always ask for one of the rooms above patty o's since the noise doesn't bother me and it's easier to slowly get back to the room at the end of the night.
My advice for, what it is worth, is stay with your original plan although some people think the jacuzzi room is not really worth the additional cost. Go and celebrate and don't look back.
