We're returning for our second trip next week. Last year we tried all of the specialty restaurants, and really loved the Asian and Italian. I can't remember exactly what we had at the Tex-Mex and Seafood, but didnt really care for either. It got me thinking though... maybe we just didnt try the right dishes at either place. I thought it might be interesting to post some of your favorite dishes at each of the specialty restaurants, so that it gives everyone suggestions on what to try. I know that personal preferences will have a big influence, but it might be a starting point! Here goes some of our favorites: Asian: Seared Tuna... love it! Italian: Asparagus soup... didnt think I would like this one, but it was great! Seafood: N/A, but open for suggestions Tex Mex: same as above
We are from Alberta and have some good alberta beef here.. the first few times at TTR I stayed away from any of the beef dishes.. cause, well you know .. mexican beef cant be good... haah!!I dont even know if it is from mexico.. lol but what a mistake that was..try the beef dishes at any of the resturants.. I think my favorite was the Beef dish from the Asian.. and the spring rolls..
I had the carpaccio at the Italian restaurant. It was sublime. I've tried many other carpaccio's since then and nothing came close -- the one from Temptations was unbelievable.
We ate at the italian 5 of 7 nights and got the carpaccio and steak every time. One of my favorite meals anywhere! Oh, I know they call it tex-mex, that ain't tex-mex. Not even sure its mex!
agreed best i have ever had .............anywhere have made a meal of nothing but capaccio there at Temptation - its that good rob
These last few posts have been amusing since we were just in Brazil in a really nice steakhouse having the exact same conversation about how good the table side carpaccio is. Let me say it one more time: The Carpaccio is fantastic. For big eaters the portions can be kinda small. We always order one thing off of every single section (appetizers, soup, salad, entree, desert). By the end of a week I have usually eaten most of the menu and have not had any complaints yet.
I like the tiramisu and sexy coffe @ the Italian restaurant. I figure I should eat dessert first 'cause I may not have room for it after the meal! The stuffed manicotti are great there! I too, usually order from each page on the menu, Italian is my favorite restaurant there. Pasta my favorite dish.
