Myself and my gf hit the gym about 5 nights a week, we do some abs at the gym, but we mostly do the P90X Ab ripper X as our ab workout 3-4 times a week. Oh Tony will work you into shape, Bring IT!

I have 20-30 pounds to lose in 37 days! Done it already, so it's doable.. just gotta set my mind straight, lay off pizza and hit the gym 7 days a week.. Started going twice a day: once by myself in the morning and with my girlfriend after work.

Hopefully I'll manage to strip 20 pounds off considering I've gained 30 in the past year after quitting the gym (Worst idea ever). Heading to Temptation on August 24th and I simply cannot wait!

Congrats on getting back to the gym.. my gain is from quitting smoking.

I am hoping the gym will stop the weight gain!!

I just realized today at my weigh in that this is my trigger weight to start smoking ..

I have been in my head all day about smoking... I know that the weight will come off if i do smoke.. No it doesnt make you skinny .. but it does stop me from eating as much...

I have been here before and when I get to this weight I say screw this ... I am smoking .. .;(

with that said.. I have no intentions of smoking, I really, really hate the weight gain. I am determined to try to get it off without smoking. I have never tried to loose weight at this point I always just smoke, this is a scary point for me .. wish me luck!!

    SMOKING SUCKS!!!!

Indeed smoking DOES suck! You should've seen the 'smoked' human lung we dissected in Anatomy last semester... Hooorrible.

Here's a few tip that might help lose a lil' weight:

    1. Eat 5 times a day, but in smaller portions. This'll help reduce the amount of fat your body will accumulate for later use. (So breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and diner.) Remember to keep it healthy at all times, but a small bowl of chips here and there shouldn't be an issue...

    2. Counting you're calories (as much as possible) and staying under the daily value amounts of saturated fat. Calories are a good indicator, but saturated fats are what you should stay away from...

    3. Exercising, obviously. Good diet + exercise = success. Even if it's for 15-20 minutes, going for a run every night can give good results in a short period of time if done properly. Keeping you're heart rate at approximately 130 beats/minute is where you're body will take care of reducing the accumulated fat reserves rather than working on that cardio, which doesn't help much when trying to lose weight.

4.Celery: eat 'em! If you feel like eating something but you don't want to gain weight, celery can take care of that craving. I know it doesn't compare to a chocolate bar or a pizza, but what I usually do is eat so much celery that I end up filling my stomach with mass, which enlarges the cavity, reducing the impulses sent to your brain that you interpret as the need to eat, if that makes sense lol

I'm pretty sure you knew most of this though... Anyways, heading to the gym for the second time today, 1h stationary bicycle + 15 mins abs should leave me eating tons of celery tonight since I always get huuuge cravings for junk food after workouts lol
