Big, small, tall, short, skinny, white, black, hairy, bald...just let it go and have a good time. No one knows you and no one gives a shit. Not exactly in shape.. but still enjoy meeting people and have met so many fun people each time there. I'm sure you'll meet some also who will help make your vacation a wonderful time...
We're looking forward to our 4th trip back in November (see you there ZURC). It started as a girls long weekend and once we found the place we just knew we had to take our husbands back too! The rest is history and fantastic memories. No retirement community resorts for me and I can always find a quiet place to read or sleep in the sun without being disturbed. Natural vs fakies? It's the one place I feel I can go without being too hard on myself for my appearance. I'm not the hot bod on the beach and never will be but the friends I've made there don't care, do know me and still don't give a shit! Can't wait for that Nov 26th roll call!!!!
You will see far more REAL people and meet far more REAL people than fakies - breast implants or not.
Last year, we relaxed, we partied, we had a great time. We were a little low key being noobs. It really is what you make it. You can party all day and night or just relax. We did both and can't wait to go back! This is really a place that you can either enjoy it or hate it. Keep an open mind and you'll have a great time. Yeah, there are boobies everywhere but who cares? I loved taking my top off and letting go!
5abi, I felt exactly the same way about the boob issue. I'm in my 40s, and really worried about my husband comparing me to a bunch of voluptuous pool bunnies. But the group at the resort is a good cross-section of every body type. There were some amazing bodies (a group there at the same time as us actually hired some buff male dancers to come with them, so the guys really had the tougher "competition":icon_surprised. But the huge majority were just normal, everyday people with all their wobbly bits. I really felt the people at TTR had a really welcoming attitude. They could care less whether I had big boobs--they were always smiling, saying hello, and starting up conversations. I never felt judged. And after a few days of boobies everywhere, my husband said they had just become normal--like looking at someone's arm.
