It's been hot and sunny today, temperature is in the 90's but with the heat index feels hotter. Thunderstorms can happen at this time of year but rarely last very long. If there's a tropical storm about (none at the moment) then you could have bad weather for a couple of days. However, online weather forecasts are always misleading and suggest there is far more bad weather than there ever is. Yesterday we had very heavy rain and thunder storms for most of the day. Today (Friday) has been cloudy and rainy although getting better as the day goes on. It all should have cleared up by next week.
