yea speaking of french fries, twice last month i had a real craving for them!! i usually dont eat fries. but its gone now. good!! whats next?
It will always be one of the hardest things you will ever do but with each day you will see that you really can do anything you want and after you succeed in quitting nothing will seem that hard if you want it. Funny I talked to a guy who was diagnosed with lung cancer today. I asked him if he still smokes. He said no and quitting is very easy once you will live or die if you do it. Hopefully you can both quit before that becomes your decision. You two are doing great. Keep it up, it gets easier.
Anyone working out. I am a sicki today. Damm I feel like shit but I still got to do something. Where is everyone?
Okay so this months verdict kinda sucks. Only lost 3.5 lbs this month. I have got to work harder next month.
well thats not bad at all .. I would take it .. my weight on the other hand is going the otherway pretty damn fast.. I guess the only good thing is I am not smoking .. cant wait to get the clearance to start working out again..
Well we had a fantastic weekend... worked hard lost a lb but started smoking again...dam it.. but will start trying to quit again. Wee bit of vino and off we go... LOL we think we can cut way back.. like a pack a week... I know what your going to say.. it won't work.. feeling like a loser.. in more ways than one. LOL
well the trick is . . just dont smoke today .. you havent wrecked your quiting .. just because you had a slip dont write off every thing you have done .. and you know that is exactly true...that cutting back wont work Deb... lol dont give up... I am at 2 months and I dont think about it much any more except for up at the lake where all my friends are drinking and smoking .. every day it gets easier to beat that urge... just saying..
Well my weight was doing that for a while too. The last couple months I have graphed my weight and watched it go up and down like three times a month. My only goal is whatever it starts out at the beginning of the month the end of the month had better be less. Someone told me if you do this that you see when you screw up and fix it right away. I guess it is true as when it did go up here and there I smarten up right away and fix it the next day. This month I am hoping to see 10 lbs gone. I am also looking at different ways of cooking with more fiber and lower glycemic foods. I would love to be down at least 25 lbs by September. 25 lbs even better.
I agree with Partydoll. It does get easier. Don`t beat up on yourself for slipping but keep going Deb and quit again it is well worth it. I had never been an adult and a non smoker until I finally quit at 32 . I started smoking at ten and smoked for 22 years. You can do it Deb just don`t give up. I expect you`ll be a non smoker when I meet you in April.
