I looks at the glycemic index of foods and is a healthy long term way to eat that is supposed to encourage your body to go after fat surpluses. It makes sense that if you want to lose weight balance your blood sugar and keep the body from storing fat in the first place. The G I diet gets the body to use those store and builds muscle. It doesn't iliminate foods so much as it keep sthe foods healthy. Protiens, fats, and carbs and very high fiber so yu won't feel hungry.
well i tore my mcl 6 weeks ago so i have been unable to work out....up about 10 pounds in that time....but i was released to ride a stationary bike and lift weights with my upper body so im back at it today....just thought i would throw my two cents in you guys should check out bodyspace.com.... it is a cool site, full of motivation
injuring yourself when you want to work out really blows!!! done it once or twice. stay focused. i will have to look up the gi way of eating. i just keep getting visions of pizza floating around in my head!!! not to mention all the comercials on tv with food. they sure know how to get you. onward and hopefully downward!!
it blows me away the commercials..another thing we have noticed is how many movies have smoking I've heard but never really noticed till now.. is it just me or what???

Busted.. the big tobacco companies are not aloud to advertise smoking so they pay movie starts Big Buck to smoke in a movie.. also all the non-smoking advertisements are there way of advertising smoking .. sneaky arnt they..
Funny can't remember what the movie was called, just remember everytime they seemed to turn around one of them were smoking. Everyday I'm happy that we have become quitters.. but it is one of the toughest things we've done so far in life. And as Jeff reminded me last night, easier to lose weight than it is to replace a lung. Oh and back on topic ordered the Zumba DVD postal strike is over should have it in a few days.
yea the food comer. start abut 6 go to like 7:30. smoking ive noticed less, on tv but about the same for movies. what i have noticed is the pot smoking movies that have really hit it big. they make it seem like its ok for kids, and that its not dangerous.
yeah @ the Zumba DVD.. you will love it .. I got mine at the Seen on TV store.. love it .. I really really need to get back to my exercising .. now that I cant do it I miss it so much.. who knew...lol also .. I know its only been 9 days since they removed my gallbladder.. but what I learned yesterday the hard way is .. nothing is different as far as what I can eat.. I still have the same issues (right now pain under my ribs.. bloating and painful tummy after a fatty meal) as i did before i got it out .. I guess I cant have the blocked duct any more.. but .. I am very disappointed that nothing has changed..now with that said.. eating whole foods is not bad.. it just once in a while .. i would like to have a damn burger and a few french fries without it killing me ... haha!! anyway that's my rant for today.. :aetsch004:
