I understand plenty of barcardi, tequila, Tecate, and other famous Mexican brands will be readily available.....however what about whiskey - any chance this resort has Jack Daniels, or Crown? Can I get a Bud Light? What are our choices? Got a favorite drink, bartendar, that I must try??? rangehat:
No tecate, just Dos XX's only which I'm more than fine with since that's what I drink down here anyway. I'm mainly a whiskey drinker also and they have Jim Beam, no jack or crown. If your a tequila fan it's the one place that they lack for a mexican resort. As soon as I get off the plane I get a couple of bottle of Aha Toro. Can only get it in mexico and it's a great tequila. There's a liquor store right across the street if you ever want to get bottles. The bartenders (who are all great and will take care of you, tip em! They work there asses off, making sure you never get thirsty!) will keep it behind the bar for you.

Is liquor infused whip creame still alloweed at the pool at TTR? We used it last year and it was AWESOME!!!
On the plus side, you get a mini fridge in your room so you can stock it if you like. Next door there's a little mini store, they also have modelo which is a decent brand. I heard the april crew had some troubles with the whip creme but the more recent reports looks likes security has been more appropriate with the reasons they ask people to stop things. Worse comes to worse, room parties!
Is the Aha Toro 100 percent Agave? If so gonna have to try that. Have to agree with you on XX it is pretty much the best Mexica beer there is.:aktion033:
It's %100 agave, they have 3 major brands, Respodo, Anejo and Blanco. My favorite is the Blanco in the Blue bottle, goes down smooth without that ack taste. Best part is you can get it at the airport as soon as you past the customs light at the airport. I've been tempted to get some bottles of ebay it's that good.
They did have Gentlemen Jack whiskey at many of the bars. Its not the best but not bad either and gets the job done.
I couldnt get Patron at wal-mart or sams last time I was there. You can get all the A-B Beer Products you want there though.
