At lunch I do 1/2cup brown rice with broccoli and either chicken or fish, seasoned with cilantro & lime or a low cal vinaigrette. Cook it all together in the microwave at work usually. I can't do salad all the time...makes me gassy
I didn't make it to tennis last night but did go for an hour walk in the heat and high humidity. Also worked in the yard raking my dirt and rocks for several hours. So I still got a work out! I just can't seem to coordinate the yoga classes with my schedule anymore so for now it's going to be walking and tennis! My biggest downfall is French fries and potato chips =( But I've found that keeping almonds and peanuts around helps satisfy that craving!
im sure glad, or i should say everyone around me is glad salad doesnt effect me that way!!!!! i can realy get sick of it too if i dont change it up. but for me its the easest way of getting those veggies in. i will buy some whole grain pastas, sauces ect. see how i like that. it will be a lare steak for dinner tonight, without anything with it. but that really fills me up. i found a new weekness, baked bagel chips with sea salt. way less bad boys than the chips, and they satisfy the crunch for me.
Only got 30minutes of my 60minute pump-n-flow class in On call this week and had two calls back to back right as class started....bummer!
Wendy does a similar lunch, but generaly with prawns, snow peas and assorted peppers and different flavouring of course. My fave is that minus the peas (lol) with her chilli sauce mmmmm......yum and and so 'eat smart'.
my daughter inlaw did the zumba dance for about a yeear. she really loved it. at the gym we go to they have only one class a day and its right about the start of work. i heard that soon they were to get an afternoon one. my hubby also would like to try it. took the mother inlaw out to eat last night. ate two pieces of fried fish. good thing i dont eat alot of fried food.
