Our daughter just got back and they got bumped to Desire for their first two days. They were thrilled with the luxury of Desire and can't understand why we don't stay there.
We usually stay 10 or 11 days. As long as we get to participate in Naked Tequila VB, Pokeher night and a round of crazy darts they can move us to Desire.
We were offered the deal to move to Desire for our last couple of days, but we stayed put. That was in March 2010.
Had to re-kindle this thread. We arrived at Temptations on May 27th. We got our wristbands and were told our room would be ready by 3pm. A little after 3pm we were told we were being bumped to a "sister" resort called Sea Adventure. Okay, guys, this was not an option. For ourselves and six other couples, there were no rooms at Temptations and we had no choice but to go to the other resort, which was a 25 minute cab ride away. Here's the kicker - the other resort was FULL of little kids as it's main attraction was the kiddy water park! Here is my question to any who have been forced to stay at another resort and then given free nights at Temptations if you come back within a year: How easy is it to book the free nights at the resort for a return trip?? Thanks for your input and help....hope to God this doesn't happen to any of you!
Just curious, how many nights did you have to stay at Sea Adventure? I've read that most usually just sleep at the hotel they were bumped too, but have Temptation cab you back in forth during the day so are still able to enjoy the Sexy Pool. Was this your experience? Thanks!
All seven sets of us were only bumped for one night. With a round trip 50 minute cab drive, it definitely took time away from our vacation and was extremely inconvenient. If we had been staying at Temptations for a week or so it may not have been so bad, but with only four nights to be away from children we did not want to be at a "family" resort. On the plus side, we met others who were bumped that we might not have otherwise met.
Same here. Desire would be great, but a resort with a bunch of screaming kiddos would be crazy. We should just stay home and invite all my daughters friends over. No offense, but we take one vacation a year without the kiddos and that is why we choose Temptations for our vacation.
