apparently the line is not clear to some. I have one question if anybody can answer it. When the resort said we are the minority - are they talking pure numbers or just volume of complaints???
Good question. I'm thinking its got to be volume of complaints. Personally, the second time around we didn't write a whole lot down on the form because we were in a hurry and fairly happy with the trip but sad to be leaving. I'm guessing if we were pissed or wanted to bitch about something, we would've made sure to make the time to write it down or speak with someone.
we were there last november, so before the so called "changes" took place or whatever....while we were there, there was ntvb and one game of crazy darts or whatever, but other than that it doesnt sound like anything changed, other than security being visible (i never saw a security guard in november, but i wasnt looking for them either)....there were body shots done a couple of times in the pool and jello body shots done once on the pool deck (at staff request)...i did not see any body shots at pady o's and we were there every night until damn near 4am....maybe there was just a "boring" group there at that time or whatever but we thought it fun enough to start planning our soph. trip when we got home
I'm finding alot of whats being said rather disturbing, we work hard for our money and look forward to our trips to Temptations, however if things continue I guess we like alot of other will be looking for somewhere else to go. We've been 6 or 7 times, this year we went twice, Dec - Jan and again in April. The reason we go is not for the resort it's self, its the people and the atmosphere, if that is to change well then I guess our destination will change. I know that its been hinted at before but Steve you may really want to start looking into somthing, as I'm sure you would have alot of followers..Besides the people that we've met your Boob Cruises are the highlight of our trips. This is all very sad really we loved Temptations, we will be watching to see what more changes they have planned, and we will plan accordingly. deb
On our RCI comment card we put: If Temptations changes as it seems it's trying to do, and gets away from it's unique identity, we've made our last trip there. We go to Temptation because it's different.
I just wanted to put out there that we all go to TTR for the same basic reasons. I am definitly not happy to hear about the complaining, but I also do not think it is a good idea for those of us that are going anytime soon to go there with the mindset that there is going to be complaining. How it usually works is, if you look for something you will find it...lol.....and then it will ruin your vaca!!! I am just as excited to go to TTR now as I was before any of the security and/or complaining came into play.....I cannot wait for July and know I will have a fabulous time with fabulous people.
I hope more than anything that your trip is as wonderful as ours. We had the best time ever. I look forward to the TR's so then we will know what our plans will be next April. cheers... I hoping for everyone going, believe me we don't want to have to think about somewhere else.
Im sure we will!!!!!! And just to point out that this is our third trip so we will have previous trips to compare it to. That being said, some people are saying the changes started years ago so maybe we wont!! lol....Our first trip was 2009.....Party on, we will see what happens!!!!!!! :biggrinbandit:
