Good post, I predict 10 pages So what lessons has the hotel learned from the group of 42 single guys? That they need more security or that they should stop groups such as those from being there in the first place?

In talking with them they were caught off guard because being booked through a tour operator they see only double booked rooms. Each being 1 of x allocation that the operator had. I suggested that they go back to that operator and tell them that if they do a booking like that again they might not be able to sell Temptation rooms in the future. But then again, if each couple of guys booked seperately via a web site, the operator might not see it either. So it's tough to prevent totally. Jamie
Thanks for the insights Jamie. Our experience last week was that security was not bad at all. We definitely noticed than we had on our first trip, thought I'm not sure if that's because there was actually more of them, or just because we were more attuned to it because of the discussions on this board. But they were never obtrusive, and we never noticed them breaking up any fun. From the conversations we had, the general consensus seemed to be that we all appreciated the security when they were protecting us from creepers and inappropriate drunk frat-boy (or soccer hooligan) types, but that there was very little reason for them to be breaking up consensual sexy fun in most instances. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to tell the difference. But again, we had no complaints on our end from this past week. They seemed to have struck a good balance IMHO.
Of course, this past week we actually had 42+ single black women (actually closer to 60-70 from what I heard) who were pretty rowdy and ready for a sexy, crazy time. We were only there for a couple days with them, but I didn't hear too many complaints from other guests - especially after half of them got naked during the lingerie night games
Seriously... One person I talked to did suggest that if any guy had a fantasy of being with more than one chick at a time (is there any guy who hasn't?), this would have been the time to make it happen. With 60+ single ladies ready for a good time, the odds were pretty good for the gents. Actually, for all I know, they're still there right now. It's been just about a week since I first saw them show up. Quick, jump on a plane and get down there!
Well done Jamie... seeing things from a different perspective can be difficult sometimes. I think understanding things from the hotel's point of view will go a long way to calm some of the complaints.
Nice job Jamie... Makes me feel a lot better about Sept. Sept crowd is not as big a group as April and May. So I'm thinking security will not be as visual. I've always felt safe there. This will be our 8th year going and any problems I've seen is taken care of quickly. Thanks again
