Might be not a Cancun oriented question but are there any raves going on in Cancun with some nice bits and visuals? Lollipop parties if you will
It is a party where people are mostly on 'E'. One of the side effects of which is teeth grinding, and jaw locking. To keep teeth from grinding and to avoid sore jaw muscles in the morning, people suck on lollipops. Music is anything from trance, psy.trance, electronica all the way to hardstyle, dubstep and whatever industrial goth crap is out there (not mine ). Another important part of raves are visual effects: projections on large screens done by VJs (Visual DJ), fires, fireworks etc... That was a brief lecture "Lollipop Party 101" at university of Cacuncare. :azzangel:
Using "E" in Mexico is againts the law and could mean a long time in jail for such use. Therefore I would highly doubt that you would find such a party or the drug of choice for it.
I didn't think people still raved. YIKES!! Cancun as far as I know does NOT have Raves. If they do, it isn't happening in the tourist area. And like Gabesz said, you don't wanna end up in a MX jail. Good luck getting out!
I'm not planning to get there (in any jail) in first place! that was a question for general knowledge E is a drug and i don't know a place where it is legal.
I think for the music and visuals you might enjoy some of the beach side clubs at Playa del Carmen rather than Cancun proper. Incidentally we are now no 7 in Google for the term "lollipop party" thanks to this thread. Expect some new ravers soon, either that or a bunch of 7 yr olds
