I'm orginally from Dallas, Texas and I have a membership at Sams and City Club, but was wondering if it's worth getting one at Costco............. do they tend to carry some USA brands more than the other 2? Thank you in advance. Susy
Although I still have memberships in City Club and Sam's, I rarely if ever use them anymore. I find that Costco has the best variety of the three. The others have more variety in smaller presentations for some things though and sometimes have things not available in the other 2.
Costco is my "go to" big box store here. Suggest you find a friend and share a membership. I do this with both Sam's and City Club but my daughter is on my Costco account so no cost reductions there. Sam's and CC hav4 things that I need/want from time to time and are worth the small investment in shared memberships. Chedraui at Plaza Las Americas has more US brands of day to day food items than anywhere else as far as I am concerned. Many, BUT NOT ALL, have USA flag like symbols next to the prices for easy identification.
I've had memberships at Sam's, City Club and Costco, let all of them slide except Costco, they do have more "stuff". I do like City Club as they have interesting things and they offer things that are not "dinosaur" sized at times. I also like supporting a Mexican business, but yes, Costco is where I usually end up. Haven't been to Sam's in years now.
Muchas gracias for your feedback, looks like I will be investing in a Costco membership today, since I don't know of anyone with a membership....... I don't get out much unfortunately. I love Chedraui, when I need something as simple as Flour or walnuts this is my place, it is a bakers paradise. Thank you again, very helpful. Susy "Give Happiness and Love" Smile!!
