okay time for an update on actual bookings

here are all the ones i know of as of april 1 that have actually booked - these are people whom have already secured their rooms - it does not include the large multitude that have given verbals

i will check in at the end of the month and going forward

when the 75 rooms are full or june 16th comes around - we are done with rooms at the hotel monteleone

guys its just going to be absolutely crazy the next 6 months forward as the hotel director has just announced that hotel monteleone will now promote this event through their public relations department to the general public (but they dont get our rates - its exclussive to saggy bottom infidels and cancuncare people only - but for only 75 rooms)

the bars for pub crawl in new orleans have all been selected now and these establishments are all committed and official sponsors for this reunion weekend.....offering up some pretty cool prizes for our unique and fun game contest as well as best costumes

Hello all, We have booked our room along with our friends Jody and Diane. We are watching the airfares for now, but we are very much excited about heading down to New Orleans. We have stayed at Hotel Monteleone once before and it was a Beautiful hotel.....So Great choice. Looking forward to meeting all of you.:lotsofmichaelfs:

Awesome! Great to see a bit more Cancuncare presence in the show. That being said lets try to encourage anyone that is fence sitting or really near committing to get off their butts and get er dun!

......everyone on the proverbial fence needs to grasp the fact that the contract we have with the hotel monteleone is going to expire in 30 days.

it is one of the main reasons i am pushng this so hard so early. I know and understand that there will be 25-50 people who will want to wait and make the decison as we get closer to the dates and that is fine.

the major problem with that is this and you need to be fully aware here:

the rates we presently have will not be there after june 15, 2011 (unless we get very lucky and they decide to extend the contract and the room allotment of 75 rooms) and they will be double the incredible rate we have now.

so those of you procrastinating - please make sure you understand this

the best thing about booking today is that you dont even have to pay until the day you check out. all you have to do is call (800) 535-9595 and tell them that you are with the make a wish group. btw and another great reason to join our fun -----------they will also be donating ten percent of our groups booking revenue towards the make a wish founation

we are over 60 people actuallly booked (not verbals - these already have their rooms) now and adding daily - still expecting between 100 and 200

now i know we have discussed the parade at some length and many other things......and granted most of what you are seeing is surface stuff from me............but what you are not seeing is just how much detail is going on behnd the scenes to make this party second to none.......

it would shock you!!!!

here is just a very small example of that detail that is going on behind the scenes by others to make this reunion extraordinary. check out the detail in the pub crawl map below. once the parade is over, these maps will be handed out to all parade participants and we will begin our pub crawl march back to the hotel monteleone and the awesome "parade and pub crawl contest awards presentation party" back at the royal room.

all of these establishments below are signed up and on board as event sponosrs and are looking forward to being a part of this once in a life time event

i know that airfare has been a mixed subject for people but if you are already booked or you are planning on booking consider southwest airlines web site "wanna get away" rates

only can get these rates via their web site

granted they are not the best times - but hey the rates are very nice

from detroit best rate is a little over 300 round trip pp
from buffalo best rate is under 300 round trip pp
from st louis best rate is a little ove 300 round trip pp
