Thanks for the welcome and the comments on the car theft. We will have a car and driver (the SUV is within secured gate), so should not be a concern (hopefully). The house itself has all sorts of security.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This makes me wonder if Mat might find small pieces of what used to be his car lying around in Steve's garage...
Congratulations! I will be moving in July. Please let me know (if you don't mind) how it goes with your cats and what they ask of you. I'm nervous about having everything in order for them.
If you haven't seen this before, then it should provide all the info you'll need to bring your cats into Mexico. http://www.senasica.gob.mx/?Idioma=2&id=623
Yes. I've seen it but I like to here about people's personal experiences to ensure things go as they are suppose to and that there aren't any last minute surprises.
I have brought my dog in and out of mexico three times in the last two years. If you follow what is posted, there will be no surprises. As long as you have everything, you should be in and out of their office in the airport in 20 min. They are very nice people there!
Will do. Our cats have been to Norway (very strict regulations) and back to the States, so hopefully the process will be smooth for Mexico. We've got all the paperwork in order and looking forward to finally arriving.
* Update * We are going to be living at Malecon Americas in the Miami Tower. 3-bedroom condo, I think it will be a nice start and allow us time to look for a more permanent solution down the road. The unit has never been leased, so it will be like walking into something new.
Very nice- depending on how high in the tower you are, you can have some amazing views from that tower, out to the lagoon and HZ, and north and south as far as the eye can see. Go to the landing and you can see the entire city, to the west. We considered buying there, but my wife had the misfortune of seeing, "Towering Inferno" when she was at an impressionable age! But, it suited me, especially the idea of living in a shopping mall and being able to go to Cinepolis without ever stepping outside! Sometime, if you don't mind, tell us what the rent was....
