Just went through expedia but watch out .. some of them have many connections and a couple of them had an overnight .. lol I think that it will get a bit cheaper though..

 

We're still pricing things as well, but we're definitely going! Anybody want to buy my firstborn??? ...dang it all, his fiancee says I'm not allowed to sell him!!!

 

If I can pass along THE BEST ADVICE to all of my Cancuncare friends that I was given last year, this would be it... Please do not use Expedia if you don't have to! Last year, I organized a trip for a group of 10 of us to go to Temptation Cancun in last August. I booked the trip in March and (wouldn't you know it) we booked on Mexicana airlines! (Which, if you didn't know, declared bankruptcy 3 days before we were to leave!!!!) Expedia did NOTHING for us!!! They wouldn't help us, they said they already cashed our money and we had to deal with Mexicana...which didn't "exist" anymore! It was a nightmare! But with the help of an AMAZING woman who worked for American Airlines, she was able to help me find 3 different flights on American for all my friends and after I went to the airport 3 times in one day to fight with the Mexicana reps for our Transfer Vouchers! After all was said & done, we had an AMAZING time, but the stress 3 days before the trip with no help from Expedia really was just too much!
So, with all that being said, the American Airlines rep told me this...If you can book your airline tickets directly through the airline, your trip will be insured and the airline will be 100% responsible to help you get on another flight if they mess up or have issues with your reservation. Whereas a wholesaler like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity will package the flight with hotel and make it look more appealing price wise, but they wipe their hands of any issues that may come up because once you pay them, they pay the hotel & airline they bought the package from and remove themselves from any responsibility....even if you pay with a credit card that has insurance for any of these kinds of mishaps! CRAZY!!!
I know this was a long message, but I would truly HATE to hear that someone was put in the same situation we were with no help at all! It sucked and I wouldn't want your vacation to start that way! I have used Orbitz before and they do seem like the best out of all of those companies, but I would NEVER use Expedia again!

super jealous of you all! wish i could come too. i really want to try cabo. but single mom + 5 kids + no job= no money. hard enough to swing the last trip, 2 in a year ain't gonna happen! might have to do cabo next april... sounds like that group had quite a bit of fun!

What we do is search the best deal from whomever then go to our travel agent who has matched it everytime within $100.00

 

I,m getting prices of 2200 for 7 days to 3100 for 10 days, but the flights
are stupid with two stops. if i drive to toronto I may get a direct flight

Good luck with your search Donald! Look forward to meeting you guys!! Those prices are actually a little less than what I'm finding from Florida. Emailed a travel agent today....hoping she can get me a decent quote with the flights I want. I'd like to book sooner rather than later if possible.
