Well said, we totally agree with you. We vacation at TTR for those risqué reasons.:3some:

Absolutely agree! Why TTR management keeps entertaining and reacting to these odd complaints is beyond my understanding... :banghead:

To be perfectly honest, we've been reading all the recent reports and we're a bit worried. We'll be there in three weeks and we're REALLY hoping that they get to relax a bit by the time we get there.
We experienced a similar nazi-security crackdown on anything fun back in 2006 (after the UK media scandal...) and while it didn't stop us from having a great time, it did put a damper on the mood at times.
Who wants to spend their vacation feeling carefully and constantly scrutinized by security guards who circle the pool like vultures looking for, *Oh My God!*, girls kissing or doing body shots... :aktion061:

If your there the first week of September then I will see you there. We have a holiday booked with work right now for the 3-11th of September. We havne't booked Cancun yet but, that is our intention unless something better comes along. Just waiting for a good or better price.

    Good Times

Maybe I just wasn't paying attention, or was to drunk to care, lol...but I didin't think security was as bad as everyone said it was. We had a great time at the pool bar everyday without any problems. Just my opinion, but were definatly going back next year...

And YES! We were able to enjoy some raunchy adult fun on Steve's Boobs Cruise... and Steve- the pleasure was all ours. hmm.... Steve- maybe you and Jannet should open up your own small resort... I'm sure you'd get alot of backing from us "regular Temptation" repeaters! We'd be first in line!

My guess is that the tightening of security has more to do with insurance premiums than management being "jerks". If the reports of the 42 person bachelor party are true (which, by the way...were there ANY people/eyewitness reports or trip reports from cancuncare at TTR when this happened? I've only read reports of hearsay...) they probably incurred some serious room/grounds damage & had to file a claim for the damage, which raised their premium. The resort probably doesn't want to deal with huge insurance cost increases, so maybe this is their effort in keeping things "under control" in order to pacify the insurance company.

Insurance premiums can absolutely kill profitability, especially with a party resort known for crazy behavior. Just a guess, but I think consecutive accident-free weeks will do more in loosening the security hold, as opposed to complainig to managent.

So...for future guests at TTR...let's party like Rock Stars...but without the wear n tear on the resort. A little more of:daveandmo:, :headbanger: , :69: and :flash: without :banghead: and :aktion060:

Still can't wait to be there! July 28th can't come soon enough for us!!!

As we will not be returning until the end of February 2012, I hope they will have things sorted out by then. The only security issue we noticed this year when we were there was someone getting busted for drugs (can't argue that). Aside from that we never noticed security. I wonder if some of these recent changes aren't temporary, still trying to figure out what works and what doesn't, as far as security goes. They may need some time to get into a groove. If not, then we may not return.

I would be curious, many on here have said they would look elsewhere. Just wondering what other resorts people would consider. Also, people who have been to both Temptations in Cancun and Cabo, how do they compare?

You may never find another adult resort like the old Temptation , but there are a lot of other adult only resorts in the South. You see TTR was unique in its category. By badgering it's customers with excessive security enforcement to turn this resort into a G rated country club, a lot of people are having second thoughts about choosing TTR.
The new enforcement of the old rules only affects 5 to 10 % of clients, but the other 90% liked to watch the balcony shows, naked gamaes here and there, body shots getting a little wild ect...... Its what made TTR what it is today.Sorry, WAS, until the famous group of 42 assh@les.
With out the little bit of wild, and the over zealous security measures and management that refuses to acknowledge customers request, they are going to loose some customers case they are no longer unique, they are just another resort .
