It's not new that you have to wear a shirt at Patyo's just as you have to wear a shirt in restaurants. It's been there for the last years. We saw issues with that last September. I agree some of it is like high school.

 

Dogberry I hope you go cause it's been our home away from home for 8 years now. We love it, we have a great time everytime and well I have never felt like a child there. When are you going? Like Deb said, we had the best time in April and well we are headed back in May and then again in september. I think you need to give it a try.

 

We're going in August/September (last week of August, first of Sept).

Well, it's all booked, so probably more hassle to cancel that it's worth.

I'm sure it'll be fine, but with it being quite a lot of money I just wanted to make sure that we're not flying into the same authoritarian, Orwellian nightmare that us Brits have to endure on a daily basis here at home! ;-)

 

We couldn't agree more, while we were there in Dec - Jan we met a women that was absolutely mortified with what was going on at Patio's, we ran into her a few days later and she seemed to have calmed down.
I would like to think that people that don't enjoy the atmosphere of Temptations would just not return rather than complain. However as we all know some people just like to bitch and complain.

 

We just returned and as of Sunday I know u can't have fun with the alcohol infused whipcream at the pool any more. We were not doing much of anything just hanging out in the pool laughing and talking to people but it was kind of hard not to be aware of the guard standing at ease position right on the stage area in front of the Miss Temptation banner watching everyone. Samething in Patty O's, there were at least 3 sometimes 4 guards there, 1-2 were up on the tops of the stairs so they could see better. It was very different then in the past. Seemed to me that the atmosphere was toned down quite a bit by it. I missed the bartenders standing on the bar giving tequila shots as in the past. I know the wemen who did fishnet night last year (some were pretty daring) would have been tossed out of Patty Os this trip. Some people did wear their lingerie to Patty O's after the casino night was over and they were not bothered by the guards but the next night a guy was tossed out for not having a shirt on (go figure). If it was your first time to TTR you probley wouln't notice it but repeaters will notice the change for sure.

 

I think the combo of complaints for other incidents raised the security there. Things happened and people complained. Now just the opposite is happening. I think if we as a group addressed this together we might be able to make some headway on this. If we want to be able to do infused whip cream body shots we should be able to or at least know the real reason we can’t.

Maybe a Cancuncare TTR takeover week were we can have some of our own rules???

Well I guess we will not have to worry about the “Great Camera Debate” anymore. It seems the resort may have solved that problem by not allowing anything to take pictures of. I know personally that we are more “concerned” about the new security rules then someone taking a picture of the wife’s boobs.
