We booked our holiday through Thomas cook in the uk and they advertise it under their "couples only" section and they have a disclaimer stating that it's not for everybody! I must admit to feeling ashamed of my fellow countrymen at present after reading these comments.... Please don't tar all of us Brits with th same brush, most of us are well behaved (mainly!).
Typical of Temptations management over the years...............over reacting after what they see as a problem instead of having a plan in place for when the issues arise to deal with it. So instead people after the fact suffer or worry about an up coming trip because of a crack down.
Who cares what happened in April, from what I see on this board 99% of the April folks are fun loving people. Lets work on making our trip (whenever it is) the best we can make it. Why dwell on the negative, life is too short ROCKOUT "with anything you feel is appropriate" OUT...
well not to keep harping on this but nothing happen in April... thats the point..lol there was just a huge presents of security everywhere and they were there when we got there.. lol and I assume they got there for the 45 guys .. or maybe they wernt there for them and it was decided after these guys to have more security.. who knows.. but .. it didnt really effect my vacation at all. one night on my 2nd week at paty'os we had our own bottle of tequilla and shot glasses .. Keith asked security if it was ok and they didnt have a problem at all.. but the 1st week it was not ok... there were a lot of single fellows there the first week.. maybe it has to do with the ratio of single guys on any given night/day as apposed to stopping all the fun stuff.. maybe security can decide for himself if 3 girls making out on the dance floor is going to cause an issue when there are 50 singles drunk guys there as apposed to 20 married couples who might not care that much about the 3 girls... there was certainly a difference in the first week (right after the big group of guys) and the second week...and maybe we are all being over focused on it and it seems like there is more secruity than there used to be .. maybe not.. I can remember that we always had security at patyos.. and at the pool and at the beach... Just saying .. lol
When We Were There... We noticed many security guards but they were well back from anyone near the pools :sofa: ,this was second week of march of course during prime MBs from europe/canada. We noticed at least 1 along the beachfront about every 50 feet or so, watching the walking beach vendors most likely and each pool had at least 1 watching over area. Only time we seen any go after guests was when some single guys were pulling thier swim trunks off under the water and putting them on thier heads :bash: in the sexy pool jacuzzi, and security were firm but curtious in thier manners. I agree that this crack-down is a short period fix and will go away by months end.:xyxthumbs: Isku
Do you really want to know what happened at Temptations in April???? Well let me tell you we had the best time ever and have now become offically April Addicts. We cannot wait to go back. We meet the best people ever, this was our 7th trip to Temptations and have to say this was the best. We met a young fellow from Scotland, 26yrs young he was very nice polite and respectful oh and single, he was there with his 6 buddies. Met a few other young people from England, very nice bunch, one fellow kept telling me the most politically correct jokes... not very funny but he made me laugh. We had wonderful times down on the beach or close to it listening to Bruce play guitar, listening to people sing .. that was one of the many highlights, oh yes there were security guards that kept an eye on us... some people may have decided that they were watching us... our thoughts they were watching out for us. Noted security guards sang along with us, and clapped when the songs were done. Just have to mention Steve's boob cruise was so much fun and crazy. My only complaint is that we were only there for 1 week, won't make that mistake again, 2 weeks for sure next April. Other highlites of our trip would be considered X rated and not appropriate for this site.. LOL Before we left we read complaints on here about not enough security... "we won't go back if things don't change" Now we're back and reading "to much security if things don't change we won't go back." Temptations is a business they are doing what they can... people complained they stepped up... people complain I would imagine they will again step up.. Can't please all the people all the time but they sure as hell try as far as we are concerned. We love it and recommend it to everyone.
