The flight is booked; so cats, triplets, and husband in tow we will arrive on June 1.

Our kids will go to Diuni in the fall and will be evaluated to see where is best to place them.

We will live in SM 18 for the first few months and then decide on a long-term solution.

I'm excited and a bit nervous now that it is getting close!

I live in SM18 and it is a nice area, but I did have my car stolen on saturday from outside my house at 3.30 in the afternoon in broad daylight. I parked locked it all up, went into my house and returned less than 10 minutes later and it was gone.

After speaking with the police and the ministro publico I have complete faith that they'll find it and return it soon...:banghead:

You sure it wasn't the local council enforcing a noise abatement restriction.

Wow...that's amazing and terrible. We got robbed in Cancun (while my husband was sleeping during the late morning) and totally cleaned out, not that we had tons of stuff. It didn't even occur to me to contact the police...the first thing that it occurred to me to do was hit up a friend who had an extra TV that he let us borrow.

Even now living in the US again, I'm so used to Mexico that calling the police isn't the first thing that I think of but like the 3rd or 4th.

But it sucks that your car is gone and you have no recourse.
