Brian You did great in that beer drinking contest, I like your idea of the water more often. Unfortunatley the staff was very accomodating, that's a bit of an oxymoron, how can it be unfortunate that the staff is accomodating, lol. They would serve as soon as we asked, I had my favourite bartender, Alex, I even offered him my hat which he refused by the end of the week. Anyway, by 8:30, it was 2 Caesar's, and they made them excellent, then a tequilla sunrise and a couple white russians maybe a rum and coke and then trying to groove into a couple of beers before lunch. Then a continuance throughout the afternoon. I will try your idea next year as well. I never got any hangover's either, but it was difficult some evenings to be out. (Also, I hope I did not offend anyone with any of my antics, I don't believe I did, but just in case). Today is Thursday, we arrived home Sunday morning at 4:15 am, and I still have the nightsweats.
We felt the same way, and we didn't know where to be going or what to be doing because we didn't want to miss anything, but somehow always felt like we did!! April Addicts for a take over at Los Cabos sounds like an awesome plan!
yes I have thought about this as well .. and we do have a few people thinking about it .. Pretty sure we would get a few April addicts but it wouldnt be the same.. Brewster and I are thinking about checking it out in the fall..I think Donald has said that as well .. with what Rob and the others have posted and the reasearch I have done before..its all about the people, if a group goes and continues to party like cancun thats the vibe you will get if it a more laid back group then thats the vibe you will get because of it being smaller I think.. I am ready to have a real vacation .. lol but not at a place that rolls up the sidewalks at midnight..something in middle would be awesome... I Love the sound of quote: " the quiet sexy pool". to me that says that if a party starts at the pool you will be there for it .. other wise it a nice relaxing place to be. I am looking forward to checking it out.. but I am pretty sure after reading this report I have a good clear idea of what to expect..
that is exactly the way it is for some whom have been used to the chinos and gang craziness though - they will be severely disappointed as the entertainment staff in los cabos does not get the clientele worked up and as into it as chinos and the gang does in cancun games and entertainment in los cabos are a very small part of the vibe and most of us like that as we like to do our own entertainment - which is never a problem for us we dont need no stinking staff to get us going - lol in fact..... when nobody signed up for the pole dancing class - and i tried to get the girls to do it - theresa turned the tables and would not let up on the fact that it was something the guys needed to do - so i voluntereed to lead the charge and bob and pop joined (brian took pics) - all the girls hung out at the pool and they ended up missing quiet a show what started out as a handful of people ended up being about 50 spectators on the ground rolling in tears of laughter on other days - others took the lead in making the entertainment (brian in the drinking contest, pops having his head shaved by all the chicks, bob singing all the pretty ladies, rick and faye and "body shot" t) but again i never went to cancun for the 15 minutes of activity time at the sexy pool with chinos - even though he was born to do what he does and nobody can hold a candle to him............ he was only a small bonus for us - a very small bonus - we did not go to cancun to see him - like others do we went to cancun to have a good time with people we love and people we wanted to meet its more laid back in los cabos and more centered around great conversations with awesome people and having fun with not quite as much craziness its clearly not for everyone as you can see in other posts from people whom have been to both places - again i use our friends ron and melissa (ace1) as an excellent example and i strongly encourage all consideirng going and spending their hard earned vacation dollars at a resort for 10 days - to honestly look at both reviews as they did not see it the same way as we did ron and melissa are two incredible people and t and i loved our time in cancun with them and are looking forward to seeing them in new orleans in october ------------but we did not see los cabos the same way the best rob

Hmmm...Walmart in Tulsa....that could be a blast! Call ahead and have them put the firepits and lawn chairs and snack aisles by the liquor aisles..
Thats exactly what I was thinking... we can put the greeter by the beer cooler, cuz there something about an old man in a walmart vest saying " welcome to the cooler " all night that could be funny.
