We were there for 7 nights, 8 days and it was just right in my opinion. Now had i not 'overdone it' on a couple of days I might not have worn myself out in those 8 days :icon_mrgreen:. About half way through I started on the 'one glass of agua for every one glass of cervesa' plan and it worked much better. No hangover and I was able to stay up late. I would also recommend that if you plan on doing the beer drinking contest that you pace yourself in the morning and afternoon leading up to it. I remember getting up on stage but don't remember getting off the stage after I lost in the final round :aktion061:. After a nap and a cheeseburger (which I don't remember eating) I was back up and drinking at the hottub until late with everyone again. I definitely agree with Rob about everyone arriving and leaving on the same days. It sucks saying goodbye to new friends on several different days.

amen just an fyi t and i are good with any time in april - we have complete flexibility from april 1 - april 30 so whatever dates are set we are in for a 8 - 9 day "same time next year" trip. rob
Well we can work around most dates to figure something out if we have enough notice... .guess I'm going to be losing either my February trip or my November one...LOL...maybe Rick won't care...LOL Faye
Great report Rob. Looks like you had fun and brings back great memories of when we went there. Looks like they have alot more beds pool side than they did when we were there. I did love those beds. I also loved that I didn't leave that vacation totally exhausted like Cancun. Did they have that live band come to the resort. They were great.
as long as me/t get to see you in new orleans in october and los cabos in april im perefectly okay with whatever else you guys want to do .........i will not even require you to check in with me for approval rob
hey monique trust you guys had a blast in cancun - did you get to play wtvb? the water volleyball game at los cabos was cetainly not as entertaining as the one you and i played in last may (and lost lol) in cancun but we played anyway and had a good time the band plays every saturday and they were good fun yeah they have tons of beds and not that many chairs so i did have to get up early to place our stuff on them.............les and lynfa were not there to take care of our chairs in cabo like they did every morning in cancun rob
Too funny! LOL Now the reason I didn't count New Orleans in there is technically it is not a vacation...It is a fund raiser.... Although we will be there with good friends and meeting new friends we are also there to help & raise money for the foundation.... & of course spend more of our kids inheritance....LOL Faye & Rick...
