I'd love to do that Rob, but we are headed to Hilton Head, SC with the family in the RV on the 15th. My partners aren't too happy for me leaving a few days before the final gun, but when the kids are out of school we go! In my honor you might want to rent the movie RV for your flight to Cabo. I'm the Robin Williams character and the 14 year old mouthy daughter is multiplied by 2 for my 14 year old twin daughters. Oh yeah and we're taking the in laws with us. So I would much rather be in Cabo!
OK this thread has me all fired up LOL...way too early...Twini, Jamie and Snowjob, I agree with all of you....me and my BF have this arguement ALL the time, I say he's a Bleeding heart. He says I'm cynical and heartless., I always say ppl should take responsibility for their actions and be held accountable...maybe it comes from my early years, I was a divorced single mom by the time i was 21, working F/T, college P/T, and raising a baby, never applied for welfare or anything. I was poor and broke but I pushed on, worked hard. ...sore subject between us as it leads to yelling...making up is fun though
No Mirella we are going to be Carribean less this year. Our only island vacation is Prince Edward Island so we'll be doing nothing on the adult only side unless something comes up that changes things. Rob, Mirella is another one of us conservatives that think that a good solid chunk of both the US and Canada needs to get off their dead asses and do something constructive instead of just bitching. If most of the bleeding hearts out there could sit with me here for one tax season and see all the ridiculous give aways on both ends of the tax spectrum, they would become card carrying Tea Partiers thinking that government has become nothing but a huge vote buying machine with very few redeeming qualities.
Ed Your going to Prince Edward Island this year, Canada right? You will enjoy it, Barb and i and our boys spent a week down there last summer, we rented a cottage on the West end of the island. What are your touring plans, we went into Summerside one day, Charlottetown another day, and then another day we crossed the bridge into New Brunswick, went to Nova Scotia and spread my Dad's ashes where he grew up, and then returned on the Ferry. Enjoy it, it truly is beautiful down there.
ed for me its just so clear we can discuss and bitch and moan and whine and argue about the whos whys and which party and which policies are the shitiest but the BLINDING GLIMPSE OF THE OBVIOUS IS.......incredibly so very simple for you and i... we can only spend what we have and when we dont have we cut or we change and make what we have work.......at our house when money is tight we cut out the pool boy (makes t sad lol) and i have to take my ass out in the heat and clean the pool, when money is tight we cut the dinners at three forks and we take one vacation per year and not ten i dont get to go out and create new rules, programs and plans for our family - we cut rules, programs and plans immediately and prioritize our spending the basic problem with government is that it considers itself immune from this responsility and it has no comprehenison and/or ability to understand this basic concept - that you can only spend what you have -whether you like it or not is completely irrelevant - .... until people (republicans, democrats, progressive conservative party of ontario, whigs, libertarians, socialists, saskatchewan party) hold spend happy law generating governements feet to the fire and make them understand this very simple thing (that it can only spend what it has) then we will never fix the mess you cant fix governement without fixing this very basic culture first its really that simple rob the libertarian
