usnseabeaqueen: god im so sorry to hear this pack of animals ruined your groups time. I hate to say this but this is entirely the fault of TTR management for not dealing with these groups. If they are prepared to sacrifice the general ambience / mood of a resort by not dealing with this issue a heck of a lot of people will start thinking twice. Ive emailed TTR today and asked them if it will be possible to let me know if such a large group like this will be there when im there. If so im changing resort. I dont work hard to holiday around a pack of animals like these bloody jerks. Trust me, TTR need only ask the Spanish, Portuguese and Greek resorts what they are dealing with. I chose Mexico as I thought these types wouldnt be here, to hear they prob will is utterly deflating. TTR Managment, i hope you are paying attention to this thread and looking at the bigger picture. Something clearly needs to be done.
TTR is a great resort and things like this typically DO NOT happen. It was a Stag party that got out of hand. These young men (it doesn't matter where they are from) should not have been allowed to stay. Our group had several rather big men in it and they had a few talks with the boys and they simply avoided our group after that. But...my brother in law saw it happening to other women and addressed it again for the women outside of our group. This situation was unfortunate and could have been handled much better, but I do not want to discourage ANYONE from going to TTR because it is a great place. This type of situation is an anomaly!!! Thanks guys, I have wondered myself if I would come back while on this particular vacation. BUT...I will because this was my tenth time and this is the first time anything even remotely like this has happened. It's a great resort.. I brought a guy friend of mine for the first time and he said even with all of the chaos... he had never had more fun at a resort!!!
No excuse for ill manners!! We did meet several single men who were perfectly fine, they even hung out with our group several times. No one has a problem with singles or being from the UK!! We just had a problem with the 45 young men who didn't know how to act. I am single and so is the friend (a guy) who came with me. The problem was simply that the "Stag party" group were unruly, rude and disrespectful the whole time. Where they were from is simply geography Andy, (not our concern) our concern was the utter lack of regard for others. KuffandVix you are right, I imagine they will be bragging, but their bragging is unfounded and most will not remember how they spent their week since we were told (by one of the group) that they were doing x and cocaine for the whole week and rarely slept. (This was from the mouth of one of the young men as they were leaving the resort.) It did happen as I said and it is unfortunate...but true.
When i went i had some bad events happen and i will say this about TTR management.they take no bs from anyone and they help get me a full refund when i got back from my trip.Till this day i still email and talk to THE staff that work at TTR thats how much respect i have for them .As a single male and been to cancun more then a few times and stayed at pretty much every ad only resort i have to say TTR is still the place to go if you want to feel at home and have staff care and watchout for you . ps i never once had any problems being accepted as a single male at ttr where i was looked at cross eyed at another and to be blunt cancuncare has alot to do with why ttr is a great single and couple resort and for the most part theres alot of good people on this site .dont blame the resort for the people who show no respect is the start and end of it all
For the record I have no problem with anyone from UK, just the stags who generally seem to emanate from the UK. Heck Ive a met some champion english folk and Im sure ill meet many more. However the stag thing I detest because in packs they think they can do, say and act like they are in their own homes with little to no regard for others. Thanks for reemphasizing how great TTR is, i guess I shouldnt let this let me give it my best shot, thanks. I hope your 11th trip is your best yet.
Ok guess I was a bit harsh suggesting the TTR resort should not have taken action when a girl had her rib broken, pushed into a swimming pool with a live mic (electruction risk!!!) and when they constantly leered and slagged off every woman who walked past. Guess the resort management should ignore this stuff then and not say anything????? Is it right that a herd like this cant be warned that their behaviour is unnacceptable or should people like usnseabeaqueen have to rely on her male friends to police these jerks??? Sorry but i think the resort has a duty of care for the guests and should have issued warning this behaviour will not be tolerated!! im all for fun and a laugh but when people have their vaction practically ruined something needs to be said!
I think what Gymrat meant, was that people shouldnt cancel their vacation or not come to Temptation because of this. These are still isolated incidents and shouldnt deter people from going to TTR. I am sure that management will work on this problem, They did make attempts to section them off , keep them out of hotel activities, away from the sexy pool... it definately doesnt sound to me as if the complaint fell on deaf ears. Im sure it will take some time to come to a resolution and best way to handle such occurences. It is horrible that peoples vacation was ruined and some people were hurt, however I would still recommend Temptations and encourage people to go

ok look im not trying to be rude and everyone has the right to be upset . hell i was broken into when i stayed and i was asleep .what im trying to get across is that the resort is a great place to go and for one or two bad eggs its still number one in my books.Trust me when i say this 95% of the people come to this site cause there going to TTR or have been many times and There is a reason for that staff, cancuncare folks and hell in my case i love the hard beds .so all im saying is talk to them maybe you will have luck like i did and for what was done for me my hats off to the staff .sorry if you think i was being rude just trying to sheddd some happy vibes thats all . i will shut up now lol .
