Anyone up for doing the toy swap like the April group is doing? We've done it at Christmas parties and can be a lot of fun. That way you might not get a gift similar to something you've already got at home. Just a thought.
Sounds like fun. If everyone is up for it and since you have done it this way before do you guys want to take charge and run with it?
If that's what everyone wants to do. Being in charge doesn't mean you have to give demonstations, does it?
Here are the rules for the exchange, if everyone is interested. Each person selects a number from a basket. Number 1 goes first and selects a wrapped gift and open it up. Now #2 they can pick an unwrapped gift or take #1's. If they take #1’s gift, #1 gets to select again from the pile and unwrap. Now it's #3 turn and they can take #1 or #2's or a new gift, you get the idea. At any point if your gift is taken from you, you pick a new one or take someone else's. You can not "take" the one that was just taken away from you. But you have the opportunity to select it again later. Some gifts are more popular than others and may get stolen several times. The fourth person to take it gets to keep it. No more swiping that wonderful gift. The more things are taken the more fun it can get.
