So here's the deal: I would love to bring my guitar to have some fun a few nights n get people to sing along, but alot of my friends have had horror stories w guitars being broken by airlines. I have a very expensive Taylor guitar that i don't want broken, but don't feel like playing a cheap piece of crap either. Any thoughts?
As much as i would like to sing "tiny dancer" ala the scene from Almost Famous, I probably wouldn't just because ive heard those horror stories too....
Dan, Bruce brings his, and is going to this time as well but not sure which one he is taking ..he will likely bring the one he bought there last year.. the one in his picture. in a hard case he hasn't has any problems.. have to say his guitars has been on more trips than i have.. hahah!
we were thinking the same.james has an older one that he is not to worried about breaking, so he might bring his for the may trip.
Definitly!!!! When we were there the first time someone had a guitar and he was playing and everyone had a blast singing along!!! I wish we would have gotten to know who they were at the time cause it looks like they were having a blast!!!!!!! I would love if someone in our group had a guitar!!
were you there in April last year.. cause Bruce was playing his guitar last yeas in april and again in september... and brining it this trip as well ..
I have several nice guitars but if I am carrying one to some place like mexico, this is what I take. Carlo Robelli W4102B Acoustic Guitar | Sam Ash Music 1-800-4-SAMASH Mine is red. Anyway if you change the strings , its not half bad.. Certainly good enough to entertain a bunch of drunks for sing along...lol... Actually you will be surprised how nice a guitar it is for that price. Chris
