From what I have read, USA Transfers seems the way to go as far as transportation to and from the airport. My question is...Does anyone ever take a taxi instead? Would it be more or less money? The transfer idea seems fine, however, from my previous experiences with shuttles, they pick you up waay early to go to the airport thus losing precious TTR pool/sun/friends/party time. I obviously would much rather be at the resort longer than wasting time sitting around at the airport. Thanks for any help guys! 3 weeks to go from today! Woot! ~Mandy
I think you would be much better off with USA Transfers or one of those companies.. the taxis at the airport are really expensive and different from the taxis that are around town, I think USA Transfers and other companies pick you up 3hrs before your flight, but that is because the airlines recommend 2hrs for an international flight, plus their drive time, even if you take a shared van at 17 dollars for a round trip, its better then a cab in my opinion. I was stuck taking a cab a few years ago and it was expensive
We took a cab last year to the airport and I don't remember it costing more than $30 or $40. I always ask before I even get it how much its going to cost to go where ever I am headed.....
Ahhh! That is a much better deal! Our way there was free with RCI so we just had to get back to the airport. Go with them! lol :rainfro:
Good point Dan...we had to pay our way back also jwoww....this year we booked thru funjet...all included deal
