For the record Kim, if you look anything like you did last year, you have nothing to worry about. You're a beautiful woman who is also a very nice person!!
Don't forget guys that the ladies here see the thread as a support and encouragement group. They just want to drop a few pounds and feel good in their bathing suits. The advice and encouragement you are giving is all good but maybe geared more to people targeting a serious lifestyle change? Ladies? Come back...carry on
yep... i'm thinking that making us feel good (whether we are right or wrong) is the best way to get our tops off!
oh... and in kim's defense (not that she needs any help)... but we all use things to measure our success and how good we feel about ourselves. I use the scale as well as how my clothes fit. When i gain a couple pounds (or 10), i feel like crap, and even if my jeans fit better, it would be hard to accept the weight gain. (but it might make me pick up a carrot stick, instead of a candy bar) Is that society? probably. Just as much as society has told us that being tan is more attractive than being pasty white... being tan is not the 'healthy' way to go, and yet, plenty of us are jumping into tanning beds at the moment to make ourselves feel better about the way we look. We all listen to society in one way or another. Even our drivers license asks what our weight is... it's how we are trained to "size" each other and ourselves. i'll stop looking at the scale when everyone else stops tanning... kim... you go girl!!!
