How about if I just chase her??? Hell, I'm still good for 25 yards (well, maybe a little less) Oh well, I can still drink w/ the best of 'em!!!!
great great point! But most women fear they'll become too muscly(highly unlickely) if they weight train.
I was afraid of that too at first, but then I did research. .you really don't bulk up.. weight training burns more calories too over time.. the more muscle you have, the more calories it burns while resting.. let me see if i can pull up the article from yahoo.
wow a size 1 is only a dream for me .. haha I get what your saying Dan.. and I under stand what Bonez is saying as well .. and I would love to put on 8 lbs of muscle but .. its gonna take time for my body fat percentage to lower.. so if I were to step on the scale .. and I was up on the scale .. and I have not blown my diet and continued to get my workouts in then I would also take into concideration how my clothes are fitting and the mirror.. I think that most people that fight the weight battle .. do the same.. it doesnt mean we are all wrong.. does it ? ok, where is that beating a dead horse smiley..haha!! :deadhorse: I GIVE!! lets agree to disagree.. can we do that?..LMAO!
DING DING DING!! we got a winner here!! Yes Kim if you balance health with fitness and figure ALL diet based only plans fail. You can not be healthy and control weight on a below metabloic rate caloric intake for sustained periods. Now I know that there is this under eating fad for longevitiy going on right now but the court is out on long term benefits as of yet. The only reason there are a gazillion diets out there is that they all fail long term and we of North America rely on calorie dense processed meals to support our sedintary lives. As a result a whole industry has grown up around trying to drive people towards hollywood's perceived correct number on a scale.
I dont need to see the link, I am not afraid to lift, I know that it burns fat better and faster than Cardio, I know that building stronger muscles keep you young and healther as you age. I know I am not gonna bulk up. this isnt my first day.. Dan, I can see that you work very hard on your self and it pays off.. because you look fantastic and Bonez I am sure its the same for you. but what if you posted on here, OH hey, I gained a pound of Muscle this week and someone said .. Well Dan, you would have gained 2 lbs if you had lifted the weight like this or if you had kept you core stronger and lifted you would have given you a better burn.. I think there are so many factors to take into consideration on what works for you.. there is no wrong way, as long as you are eating healthy and getting your workouts in and using what ever methods of measurement you are comfortable with to measure your success .. is the right way... I enjoy your perspective and knowledge.. I am not trying to be a hard ass here although I do wish I had one .. get it ?... lol but I do have to say this is the nices way possible to you both.. . . . . :huepfen021:Get the hell off my back.. I like the scale!! :huepfen021: :aktion054:
