Is coco bongos a night club, and if so is there a dress code? We heard it is a must see, and just want to make sure we pack what we need to get in.
It's a night club with a show that goes on between songs. It is a blast and a must see. There is usually close to 2000 people their so carry only what you need.
DONT WEAR HIGH HEELS!! lol I wore my sexiest outfit thinking dance club, your standing in one spot for hours .. and you cant really dance there is so many people.. but LOVED IT!!! I cant wait to go back with jeans and flats..lmao
nope, no dress call. you can wear anything you want. Would not recommend wearing flip flops, though. The danger of someone steeping on your toes is very real, as it does get very crowded.
Thats what we did wrong, we coulndt go on the Monday that TTR cause of the Boobs Cruise we had that full day.. so we bought vip tickets , but all that got us was a spot of a step and no waiting to get in.. lol but no having to move after you ordered your first drink, cause they came every 5 min to see if you needed a drink. We went to Coco Bongo in Playa last summer, and it was way cooler than I ever could have imagined. The shows were impresssive, they were dropping balloons and glowsticks throughout the night, and the drinks flowed surprisingly fast for being prepaid. We lucked into going with one of their former employees and wound up on the main floor...which led to dancing on the bar and then on the platform above the arena. It costs extra, but if you can swing it, it's worth it. And if you like to dress up, it's definitely the right occasion. Anything you would wear clubbing in NYC or Vegas would fit in fine (but so would jeans and flip flops...it's not pretentious.)
