Hey guys my 1st time in cancun and Temptation has anyone been to the clubs in town?? ill be there solo from march 21st to the 26th just want to have as much fun as possible so any info about the resort and surrounding areas (what to look for , what to avoid) would be great. thnx a head of time.
I went to the town one night. Pretty sure everyone was between 18-20, and lots of standing around and drinking (not much dancing/fun). Señor Frogs was pretty fun - as people seemed to get into it a little more (and it's smaller).
go to Coco Bongo. You gotta see it at least once in your life. Just think cirque du soleil on tequila
I think you should at least try one club. We have checked them all out on one trip on another. They can be fun..... it is an experience for sure.
I'll agree with the others that Coco Bongo is not to be missed. But we've been to Senor Frog's, too, and it was fun. =)
I don't know what kind of music you are into, but all of the clubs will alternate playing between hip hop and house music. The largest club in Cancun is The City. It is massive !! Always full and always a great atmosphere. Daddy 'O and SWEET are also two great clubs (SWEET being my favorite) Definitely go with the hotel staff if you wanna go clubbing. They take you to a different club every night. If you go with them, you don't have to worry about transportation as it is included with your ticket. You also don't have to worry about standing in line as they will take you right in. On top of that, we get our own VIP area !! I get there next Wednesday the 23rd. for 7 nights so I might run into you. I go to the clubs every night.
As others have said, Coco Bongos is a must... (love your analogy Dan).. going with the resort is the best. Can't beat the all-inclusive price and each nite is a different club. Basics is fun also but it's been a few years. Heard Bulldog is a blast also.. but haven't been there. Carlos and Charlies is wonderful if you go with the friday nite booze cruise sponsored by the club and hosted by Sergio.
like every body says, dont miss Coco Bongo, I believe the resort takes you on Monday nights, but you have to find your own way back
