All I have to stay... good luck with Insanity! It's so hard... for the first 2 weeks, I couldn't even finish the videos all in one shot & I thought I was in shape.. I can run the treadmill for 10 minutes at 7.5, then finish off my last 15 minutes at 6.0!! Thats so much easier, but insanity def. kicks your ass.. don't go too hard though, muscles you never knew you had get so sore, that you can't do anyyyyything for a day or 2!
Way to go Monique..thats awesome.. that is like 2 dress sizes.. they say 10 lbs a size if thats true.. who know..lol great job!!
i doubt that is true, I was 135, and im only 5'1.. and I was a size 6.. now im 123lbs and im a size 2..I think it just depends on your muscle/fat because if you loose fat, gain muscle, you will not go down in numbers, but, your waist will shrink dramatically.. I used to have a nice little muffin top, but now I have a pretty solid 4pack.. not totally defined, but you can tell its there
Yes Princess, I did Insanity the first two weeks and quit it, when it was quite obvious I couldn't keep up. Now that i'm down to the mid 220's, I'm prepared. I'm excited too!
I have a question, I have a little tiny muscle gain in my biceps but more so in my left arm.. why is that.. i am right handed and noticed that they were not the same fairly early .. so i try to get a few extra reps in on my right arm.. am I maybe not having good form on my right arm or is this normal?
Well there could be a few reasons fo that to have occured. All require a little medicaleze. For someone who is new to strength training your initial gains in strength are neurological for the first 6-8 weeks. By that I mean your brain turns on more muscle cells. I would expect that your non dominant hand would have the most non turned on cells at the start of exercise. As a result more woud be expected to activate on the left at outset. There should be a catch up as you continue. If you are lifting the same amount easily on both sides this is the likely answer and you shouldn't worry about it. There are a few weird reasons that could cause growth on one side but they are not really worried about without actually physically seeing you and your arms.
Alright people it's crunch time. For some of us we only got a few weeks(3 for us) to get the body tightened up. Keep your eyes on the prize. Now is not the time to slack off. we've all done great but can still get better. Watch the diet a little better, give it a little more effort at the gym. You'll only feel better about yourself!!!
Thanks Dan, Keeping me hopping. I have to say I have gotten strict and nothing is gonna make me miss a workout between now and then. I had alot of people comment on my body this weekend and tell me I look good. 23 lbs and they are finally starting to notice. I think what they notice was my sexy coming back just cause I feel so much better and am dressing way sexier.
