Great honest report. Glad you had a good time. Sorry to hear about your wife feeling pushed. When we were there, did not have this experience at all. But I realize week to week - things can be very different. So I believe what you are saying. There were women and men who came on to me - but they were very respectful with my boundaries. And we just had fun. I agree very much with the food comments, alcohol, and that it is a solid three star. That's how I saw it going into it. I have stayed at five stars and they were wonderful for what they were. Knowing that - going into it is very important. Like you said TTR does a great with what they have. The atmosphere and the people make it so special. I think it is a one of a kind place. If there is something like it..............well, please tell me!!!!! Shannon

I enjoy reading the trip reports.. gives me an idea of what I'm in for when we go.. I'm so excited! When we booked our room it didnt give us an option for a Jacuzzi room.. is this something that has to be upgraded when you get there? and how much per night was it extra ?
It is really a first come first serve request. If they have availability they will tell you and there will be an upcharge anywhere from $300-$600 (total for 7 nights) depending upon what you paid for your trip and how close the room is to the beach--from what we could tell. Good luck!
