You can request a floor in the comment section Express Check In ::: Temptation Resort Spa Cancun I just guessing, 'cause I don't know where the suites are situated, but the resort is elevated from the shoreline. It's quite possible that you would have a pretty good view from the 1st floor and no hassle with stairs. Particularly at check-in and out.
I'm trying, too..but it's not working! They'll probably give me a first floor room thinking I'm pregnant AND old AND alone(again)! How pathetic! Part of my indecision is due to the crappy flight$$$. There are 2 choices-one that is an early flight, connecting time is 44 minutes..I doubt that I could make the connection. The other ones is with an overnight connection. I think I'd be keep hunting!
Hello everyone! I'm still getting around to writing my trip report and forgive me for taking so long ... but I did want to jump on here about the 'suites' and also about the 'express check in'. Firstly, I did the express check in form - wrote a WHOLE BUNCH of stuff on there how it was our 20th anniversary, we'd love a REALLY NICE ROOM etc etc etc - then upon checking in was told they had received *nothing* ... so I have no idea who's getting all those emails - but they didnt receive ours ... BUT that being said - a young guy checking us in said, "Well what did it say ???" - I said, "Well ... it's our 20th anniversary ... its a special trip ... no big deal ... we have ocean view and a kingsize bed as originally requested on the reservation ..." - he says, "ok, hang on .." - then he tells me that he's giving us a "Suite" (Room 1140) - it's over on the end of the resort by the quiet pool and it was 1st floor - now I believe there are "two" buildings by quiet pool that have these 'suites' - they are NOT HOT TUB suites - they have a WHIRLPOOL TUB in the room, very big rooms, a nice couch, and a double sink bathroom - so when I heard '1st floor' I was thinking .. "Eh ... wont be a good view" - we were literally steps from the ocean - it was GORGEOUS - now the 2nd floor rooms had a very small balcony - I loved our patio! Now this last building the 3rd floor rooms DO NOT have balconies - it's just a great big window - now I'm not sure of the 'other' buidling - that one might have 3rd floor balconies - but be sure you know that if they offer you a '3rd floor' room ..... I'll write more later ... just thought I'd throw that in - and if there's a way for me to get room 1140 the rest of my life - I'd be thrilled !!!
Hi guys, I too have booked a Temptation suite but will now be requesting a suite on the first floor too!! this site is just full of great tips!! thanks again! anyone know if the jacuzzi in the Temptation suite is big or small?
I had that same problem - hence I had to wait to get the room I wanted. But they had everything ready - so someone saw the "express check in" - it just wasn't a room I requested.
Miss ya so much Roxie! Have you got your April trip confirmed yet ?!?! And DONANDDORL - the jacuzzis in the suites are not *huge* - but we fit 2 people in it somewhat comfortably - but kinda squished .... but the worst story of all ? (And I'm not meaning to gross anyone out ...) but our 'plug' wouldnt work so we stuffed a small washcloth in the drain - and after we got the tub all filled and relaxing .. we started noticing a bunch of .... um .... yucky floating 'sewage' ..... so we of course just ignored it cuz we were so comfy ... "NO WAIT - I'm totally kidding!" -- we TOTALLY JUMPED OUTTA THE TUB, all sorts of 'yuk' was floating around - we pulled the rag outta the drain and it was literrally 'all brown and black' so after nearly 'losing' our lunch - and scrubbing vehemently in the shower - we didn't try the jacuzzi again ...
it was nice being on the ground floor this year. we were on the second floor before & that was ok. we had requested some other rooms ahead of time but no luck. we got there around noon & they gave us a few choices that ok.
*sigh* No April trip. I have to be a grown up and spend the obscene amount of cash they want for my vacation time on fixing the stupid house. But, I miss you too!!
