My wife and I went to TTR twice as a couple before she passsed away in 2008. Keri was also adament that her top would stay on and all she would wear would be a 1 piece bathing suit. In her opinion, carrying twins in her 5'2" body gave her some issues that "nobody wanted to see". I convinced her to buy a couple of bikinis prior to the trip. She was like "Fine, but I'm not wearing them!!!!" Well long story short, she was in the pool less than an hour when the top came down. After lunch, she changed into one of the bikinis and never looked back. In her opinion, she didnt have the best or the worst body at the resort. Everyone is so accepting and we found that it really doesn't matter what you look like or who you are in the real world. At Temptation, everyone is your friend. It's about the people and the fun.

So very sorry to hear of your loss Theoriginalparrotthead, it sounds to me like you made some really amazing memories! Kudo's to you for sharing them with us! Before we went to Temptations I would never have taken off my top anywhere. I am a DD, have had three kids and the stretch marks to prove it and was worried that people would judge, would see all my flaws, would stare, and that I would be uncomfortable. I had never been south before on a vacation... lol, had no idea that the drinks were so yummy and would go down so fast. We arrived at about 1 and by 3 my partner had wandered off to check out the beach ( I was very tipsy) . When he came back he found me happily laying on a lawn chair in the sun tanning almost all of me. The rest of the week I still wore my top to the pool but spent little time with it on. After that first trip I was much more comfortable. There is nothing like that feeling of freedom! Believe it or not, it is true, no one knows you and no one gives a damn! You will see beautiful bodies, of all different shapes and sizes and the most amazing smiles on each and every single one of them. Do what makes YOU comfortable and have fun doing it, we are all beautiful in one way or another... Even a big man in a womans bikini Top and thongs running around at 3 in the morning can be sexy at Temptations it seems!
I brought her ashes in 2009. I buried them in several key locations that she and I shared during our stays at BBG and TTR. We had so many good times at the resort that it seemed logical to me that she should be layer to rest there. She is part of the beach and grounds. I also created an urn from a large hollow Mexican geode filled with her ashes. Boris and I placed it on the reef outside the resort in about 30 feet of water. Keri loved her stays at the resort. I thought it appropriate that she always be at the party and having fun.
