Welcome....I have to say, been to TTR 3 times and have not done one excursion yet...but ya never know...there has to be a first sometime...
Going to be our first time to Temptation, leaving in 27 days and SOOO excited!! Our dates are April 4-11... Me and my other half and another couple. Sounds like we are going to be right at home there!! Also thinking about the excursions and not quite sure which ones to go with...I was pretty much sold on the Chichen itza, to see the ruins...but haven't heard great reviews about it!! Any other ideas?

That one seems interesting, I would really like to do the zip lining/cavern swim. Got three other people to help decide though! We may be having too much fun at the resort to bother leave though...

I did the Chichen Itza tour when I was there last year; it was my one trip off the resort. It seemed fine to me, but if you want to know more about it, just ask! Otherwise see you there!
Don't get me wrong I'm sure it's amazing! I guess I just mean that ppl have said it pretty well takes up an entire day and the majority of that is on a bus.
Yes, that part is true. It takes up a day and it's a lot of time on a bus. They'll try to break it up by stopping at a cenote and somewhere for a buffet lunch, but that's all the bonus perks. Silly Mayans building their ruins so far from the future resort town!
